There might be a difference between the website and the store. If you're interested in the figure you should contact the store.
The picture of the price tag is from yesterday when I visited the store. I asked specifically if it was just for the displayed piece - it wasn't.

I just contacted the store directly and they said its and in-store only sale. $174.99. Its a good deal for those of you that live close by to it.

I expect the site to follow suit eventually. This thing must have sold terribly for them if they are already putting that big of a discount on it. I'd probably snag one for that price if I was nearby.

Lack of interest in the license or bad figure? We can't really say if it's the former because unfortunately by a lot of people's reckoning this is a bad figure. Nevertheless Hot Toys will assume people don't care about Aliens anymore and probably kill the line after the Ripley figure comes out. Doubt we even see the '86 Ripley and Powerloader.

They should give the 1/6th scale over to someone who can deliver.
At this point/ price there's no excuse other than laziness or lack of skill for delivering inaccurate (wacky looking) sculpts.
