Yeah the return to the jetpack strap-hangers is not exactly a welcome move. But oh well.

You referring to the jetpack hooks? They did add magnetic hold to this figure for the jetpack so it doesn't have to go on the hooks, just "near" the hooks

Got mine yesterday. I felt a bit of remorse originally paying for faster shipping from Hong Kong but this whole hobby is sort of ridiculous and remorseful when I think about it. I’m super happy with that decision now.

Haha im sure its fine, cant imagine they have changed it from any of the other jet packs like Rex and troopers etc and they are fine

I actually did go and attach mine via the hooks and upon double checking the magnet is plenty strong to hold it.

Yeah i thought it would be. Still cant wait to get mine to finally settle is it pleather or not, 2 reviews in and they each say different. Whats your thoughts on the material?

Ah, but never discount those of us who would simply go mad with the sheer knowledge that it would not be DONE RIGHT unless we used those strap thingies too. Incompletenes is just not allowed

There is so much I can collect from a OT Fett character past ROTJ though ..I can only stand it for a short time seeing the same Boba armor version over and over before it starts getting annoying

Don't even joke about that. HT is likely to do it and mess up something very cool just like they did with that IM release.

Perhaps they are using this figure as an example/warning to the "no reason to ever preorder" crowd.

That would be immensely lame on their part. It’s one thing to place a preorder for something 6-12 months out. It is NOT reasonable to have me front a deposit for something scheduled ~2 years out. We’ve all been let down by hot toys/ss multiple times with figures that get perpetually delayed.
