No worries. Mostly knew what you meant. Congrats on getting the Black Series version.

@endor1 said they saw the limit at 6 briefly which is their standard household limit. Might be that they had it at that accidentally.

But for the most of the short time it was up I think it was 1 or 2. I put my order in early morning so I don’t recall.

It’s a shame people try to circumvent the household limit but glad they tried to clamp down on it. Hopefully other people on the forum will see conversions because of it.
That was likely the case because it had gone up early by accident so its very likely as they were setting it up for the Invite List that it had the limit of 6 before it got shut down.

With the paid in full 3% discount, it comes to $497 shipped to the US.

It's about $430 USD after conversion. I didn't look at the shipping but another $70 or so definitely hurts.

Better than the $800+ they're going for on eBay if someone wants it enough. But definitely not pleasant.

I have to think the price will steeply drop once Sideshow starts shipping. But it will probably stay well above retail if it's as rare as it seems to be. It's interesting how many people that didn't want "another repaint" are now crying foul.

Being told they can't have something is enough to send some people into a buying frenzy.

It'll probably go down a bit based on how many people try to take advantage of the demand and flip theirs. I imagine a lot of people will keep it because of the perceived or actual rarity. And then once the glut of figures on the market dry up, it'll go right back up again.

Thanks @MyenShi ditto!
I hope everyone that wanted one converts and gets a chance to order!

My waitlist converted earlier today! 😃
Now the question is... when do we think these will start shipping?

FYI Those on the waitlist check your emails! My waitlist converted.
Congrats on escaping the waitlist
@Retro-Collector! 😉

I had mine up for a payment plan but decided to just pay it off now and hope that SSC releases him soon. They say July - December and I'm hoping since this one seems to be such a limited release it'll be sooner than later.

There’s only anecdotal evidence for this but paying a figure off early seems to push people back in terms of order fulfillment once they start shipping.

Not a big deal but you may get your figure a few days or a few weeks after people start getting imminent arrival notifications.

Congrats for having it secured and squared away regardless.

Yeah, I think for me it was more that I wanted to ensure I would be getting one and also I have other figures whose payment plans are starting soon so I wanted to get this one out of the way now.

Makes sense. One less thing to worry about at least.

I also do wonder when they’ll start shipping out. They’re probably on the way alongside the Chrome figures and other con exclusives. Maybe waiting to be unloaded.

July/August felt unrealistic unless they already had them. But who knows.

I’m on the waitlist currently, and haven’t heard anything in a week. I think some of the folks who were on the waitlist immediately may have converted when they straightened out the “limit of six” issue that was discovered pretty quick.

I wondered how high on the wailist I was?

During the final minutes of the preorder, I was attempting to confirm and pay for the NRD step in the cart.

In the 30 secs it took to add the figure to cart, check all info are correct, go to final cart screen where you click to pay, a big red lettered pop up window appeared that said...

(SORRY CHUMP! YOU MISSED OUT! jk) "Sorry, someone else has this in their cart, try again later." 😳

I refreshed several times and got to add the figure to the cart again, only to see the same popup. Went back to the product page and saw, [Join Waitlist]. I immediately joined the waitlist no more than 1:30 sec after receiving the first popup.

Since SS went through and re-evaluated the preorders and cleared off those who had ordered in excess of the limit, I believe that I must have been near the top of the waitlist, having jumped on it right away?

Most of us know how it usually goes with waitlists. But, if anyone is new to this....

When these preorders start processing, and there are cancellations and declined credit cards (which happens more often than you think), it's possible more figures could become available. This also leads to more waitlist conversions.

I hope it does, cause I definitely know how it felt to get locked out at the last second... 😐
