The difference between the regular and the deluxe is the crushed dark trooper? Nothing else?

Yes, that's the only difference:

Does anyone know what Luke’s outfit is like under the Jedi cloak in this mandalorian scene? With the original ROTJ figure there were three looks: with the cloak, just with the tunic and then with everything off showing just the flight suit.

This new mando version looks like there really only two display options with the cloak and without. Seems like his inner costume is more Japanese inspired. Looser fitting Kendo/samurai style.

That's why I decided to go for the regular DX. It looks cool, but I have no use for the crushed Dark Trooper.
Thanks! Same here I just ordered the non deluxe. Tho cool and I’m sure alot will want it, should have been the special edition bonus instead, like how IW War Machine bonus was the battle damaged outrider. Cool accessory but not $45 cool, but that’s just me.

This was a screencap I took a while ago:

Under the tabard it looks like he's wearing a black version of his original 1977 white wraparound shirt.

Good pic.

But seems to me more like a v-necked tunic under his tabard thing. I guess we will see. Hope you’re right though as that will still give us three display options. Particularly for those like myself who didn’t jump on the earlier two Lukes

If you click on the photo and enlarge it to the maximum it looks like the material wraps over from his left to right, like it did on his Tatooine outfit.

In 1977 he wore the shirt looser, but in The Mandalorian it's pulled tight so he's completely covered.

It's funny how excited I am for this release and haven't really thought about what it looks like without his robe. I'll be interested to see somebody deconstruct his outfit when it's released.

You might want to pace yourself...it's going to be a while. I'm in the same boat with this, unmasked Din and both Fetts though. Sad that we're probably nearly two years out...
The 2 Bobas, chrome Mando, Luke and Bo Katan & Ahsoka are all gonna be seriously cool figures to have on display. Fingers crossed HT actually pulls off all of these next year. Doubtful

It's almost like a black version of the prequel Jedi outfit. It's not the same as the RotJ.

Hmm. It does look like it.

Looks like I’ll still have to pick up an ROTJ luke down the road if Hot Toys does a re-issue again as I didn’t pick up any up. Just for that classic under suit look for throne room display etc.

Although I must say this new baggier under suit look is a nice refreshing take on a young Jedi Luke. I think the original slim fit look is getting a bit dated.
