I wonder if it is just a new business model HT are doing....there seem to be figures over the last couple of years that have been pegwarmers. Maybe they will do a smaller initial batch, and like some of the Star Wars figs, do more if the initial run sells out. Hard to say.

We'll get at least two batches.

Seems unrealistically low for an edition size. Hate to keep bringing it up, but if they're gonna make that few they might as well do The Lone Ranger.

They did this with the FO Stormtrooper Squad Leader. Put out 300 with a special stand for Force Friday and then did a regular exclusive release through SS and some other retailers.

We've seen smallish edition size convention "exclusives" going back several years with HT. They typically are released through SSC, and typically have more than enough to meet initial demand. If it is genuinely limited, it probably has something like a different stand and box to distinguish it from an inevitable, larger scale release. I wouldn't get too worried about it just yet, at least, as long as I could order from SSC.

Yeah, but how smallish? 300 sounds awfully small to be worthwhile, but then I don't know their economies of scale.

300 sounds a little low. Maybe they're planning to sell 300 at the Toy Sapiens convention and more down the track through Secret Base and western distributors.

I always wondered if Ridley Scott and team carefully made sure her underwear was showing a tiny crack, or if it was just on that way. I bet the former.

I think when they gave her underwear made for an 8 year old, they knew what they were doing. Thank you costume department!

300-350ish is a pretty typical edition size when these are announced, if memory serves.

I thought the edition size was for the Alien warrior not Ripley.

I had assumed that it was specific to the alien as well. Guess we'll find out.

I think its for the Alien. I guess they will probably sell 300 at that event and later we'll get an exclusive on SS with a higher ES.

Those tiny panties of hers were never designed to cover Sigourney's A$$. So I'm guessing that scene was pre-planned. kudos to Ridley.

No wonder the Alien wanted to hitch a ride with her.
