I an quite sure only Alien Ripley will be announced on that day. Releasing two Ripleys at once is bad business. Aliens Ripley will be released later though I'm sure.

Well, HT "announced" this Ripley figure about 2 years ago when it was first shown at a Toy Show. And has been "re-announcing" at nearly every toy show since.

What we NEED is a preorder. Let's hope this show brings that.

Hehe. Don't think there's any reason to be pessimistic this time around. Ripley has been gone for a year since we saw her last ( I believe?) and now she's back - soon with a pre order date. All good!

Here's a new and better look at the Alien figure. Price is included as well.

Comes out to roughly $280 USD but that's conversion from yen. Will upload the Ripley one when it pops up.

For what could happen to that thing after a few years, I'm not dropping $280. Hard plastic or no deal. I'm riding the NECA 1/4 train until HT get it through their heads that a full rubber body is a terrible choice, particularly for these characters.

I'm happy with my original Big Chap, inaccuracies and all. It's been on display for years now and I've had no problems with deteriorating rubber.

Damn it does look like its going ahead, at least with the Alien version. With the Aliens Ripley and the Power Loader it would not surprise me if they announce that combo on the official LV 426 celebration day.

I have Big Chap, Dog Alien, Grid Alien, AVP Alien Warrior, and an Aliens Alien Warrior and they're all fine.

I'm not worried at all for the new one, if they're taken care of there shouldn't be an issue. I can't wait to get it!

I'm guessing that petered out because the first Marty sold so slowly and is still available. I'm pretty sure Ripley and really anything from Alien or Aliens won't have that same problem.
