Wonder what makes it "specially" applied. Is that a nod to the flaking issue of the first? Did they actually change something or is it lip service?

As for the no NRD, I think that was just a mistake on the Alien Warrior because Sideshow has already fixed that and there is now a $25 NRD

Yeah, I just saw that.

I preordered and already received confirmation with the billing -- and no NRD mentioned. I hope they let their mistake slide.

I'm in the same boat. I got my order in before the NRD. I guess we'll find out soon enough

Yep.

At least this nearly guarantees a RIPLEY PO in the next couple weeks or right before the show. Just hope its A L I E N Ripley and not Aliens Ripley.

Well it's an Aliens anniversary year and with this Warrior Alien an '86 Ripley would make more sense.

However I think you'll get your wish, it was '79 Ripley in that catalogue

I wonder if this means we won't get a new Big Chap... If not, I'm going to have to get this guy, cause I need a Xeno with Ripley, even if it's not the right one.

Any of the HK sellers on eBay. Timcent. Cheaper than sideshow and get them before the US and Europe.

That's all I really want for my display - Alien Ripley and Big Chap. Got Dallas and facehugger Kane spacesuits as well.


Even though I jumped on the Aliens Alien PO with no NRD... I'll likely cancel unless in-hand pictures really look awesome.

I sold my Kane and Dallas figures and never bought the old Big Crap figure so I don't think I would buy a '79 Ripley, else it might make me regret selling Kane and Dallas.

I sold my Kane and Dallas figures and never bought the old Big Crap figure so I don't think I would buy a '79 Ripley, else it might make me regret selling Kane and Dallas.

Ouch... I could never part with those Nostromo spacesuits. Unless they deteriorate...

I just didn't see the point in owning them without a broader Alien line around them. And the light up feature was a nightmare to get working.

The batteries wouldn't connect properly and the battery compartment for the backpack was/is an absolute pain to access, you'd have to unstrap everything and take it off to access the batteries, fix the connection issue, spend ages putting it back on the figure only to then find out that they stopped connecting again during that process....one of the most intense frustrations I've ever had with a toy. Funnily enough the Dog Alien was another, trying to get the damn leg on.

I didn't remember that. But I've had the batteries in those suits since whenever I bought them (2008?) so they're now probably corroded so I guess it doesn't matter.

It would be a great shame if we didn't get a Big Chap. I want the Alien Ripley but really don't like the Warrior design. It's Big Chap or nothing for me.

Do you really think they have a bigger line planned for Aliens besides from the two Ripleys, Drone and Powerloader ? I want there to be hope for this too but so far it seems HT is a Marvel machine and little else.
