Left one looks better. In the right shot her left eye looks as though it's looking off to the side a bit too much. You see some of this random variation among different production sculpts as well, none are bang on perfect.

I would really wait until the prototype photos, these photos from the show are mostly not very good, shot through glass, washed out, not very high res.

OMG, ha ha ha... You are talking about things that are problems for me... Right picture is "the good" for me. I applied changes on eyes. In the left, she is cross-eyed and she has an expression of sadness...

It's amazing how can see diferent things at the same time... It's all so subjective.

Truthfully, I'll take the sad look. So tired of the Hot Toys blank stare sculpts.

i dunno looks pretty bang on ripley to me. Can't see what all the complaints are about.....The rooted hair version made her look like Adrienne Barbeau not ripley. She never had hair like that in alien. This sculpted hair version is much closer to the ripley seen in the film.. (waits for the inevitable backlash)

You're spot on, and I actually do think the sculpt is the exact same one, just with sculpted hair now, which makes it all the more funny. It's all in the lighting folks.

HOt Toys just stick with this and get it released! I would have preferred the real hair but that's a ***** to produce and I like the new face better. So I'm totally ready to pay your insane prices for this.

HOt Toys just stick with this and get it released! I would have preferred the real hair but that's a ***** to produce and I like the new face better. So I'm totally ready to pay your insane prices for this.

The painful truth is knowing that even after it's up for PO, it could be up to a year before it's actually in our hands!

The new head-sculpt looks way better, huge improvement. I'm glad they decided to start from scratch and ditch the wig and previous head-sculpt.

Not desperate, I'd rather they take awhile like they have and improve it, which I feel they have done, it looks much more like Alien Ripley, and not a 40 year old Ripley from some other movie set in the 70s disco era.

I honestly can't believe there are only a handful of bad quality photos of the new Ripley?! Surely Hot toys should be doing some damage control? I love the figure and at first I was disappointed by the non REAL hair but since then I prefer due to the fact it looks less pube-y
