In Spain it says aprox in january 2018. Can't wait...

Where is the big chap 2.0 to acompany her hot toys?lol

I can see what you mean. Like in the comparison just above.

It's not the head on the neck that is the issue here, it's the shirt. It rides up the neck on the production much further than on the proto there. The opening is about at the top of her shoulders if not higher and in the proto it's much lower. Also the proto has a nearly non existent collar and is a little more scooped than the production. If the shirt can be tugged down a bit, that should solve the problem.

Great review. Loving everything about this figure. Don't agree with people who keep saying there are no upper eyelids. They're there and the way they are done helps separate Alien Ripley likeness from Aliens Ripley likeness. I don't want this to look like Aliens Ripley and I don't want it to simply look like Sigourney Weaver. Most people would agree that a particular look of a character separates that character from the actor. Most relevant to me is The Terminator, and more to the point is the Tech Noir version. I would hope that most Terminator fans would be able to look at a picture of just plain Arnie and Arnie as the Terminator in the punk outfit and be able to tell the difference. It's the look.

Yes, it's THE SHIRT. If you pull down the shirt she will look better.

I love this review. The headsculpt is not the best thing we could have, but it's a very good figure.

I preordered it on May, last year... I don't know when she will arrives in Spain...

By the way... I think I made this question in the past, but... Is there any 1/6 xenomorph to buy? Maybe NECA? I don't care if it's not Hot Toys...

It's a good question. I'd rather it was fully plastic, and not a rubber covered HT that I'd be afraid to pose or look at wrong.

No problem man. I had to battle my wife and kids over negotiating some time today, but I got it done. Lol.

Crap. Now I gotta ask for those extra hours lol The video and the new pics def swayed me to get her. She looks pretty spot on for her Alien look so am happy about that. Now just pray she does well enough for an Aliens version.

Heck, do an Alien 3 version too. Saves money with the need for no hair and pretty drab brown clothing :rotfl

Would have had this review up two hours ago, however it got stuck uploading on YouTube, so I had to delete it and re-upload again. Nice right. :clap

Thank you Highlander1 for sharing. [emoji106]

Ha! Enjoyed the review, I think if people sell her in the future a lot of the ads will say:

FOR SALE: Hot Toys Ellen Ripley. Stored in a display case and from smoke/pet free home. No damage to figure.
PLEASE NOTE:
Cat has been thrown across the room, but this is a normal defect with this figure...

erm, what's with that picture? everything is the same, just terribly pictured.
open any thread about a figure that you own, go to pages with first sneak peek photos of an actual product - and compare it to what you see in your collection. it will be much worse than what you know.
these are not the kind of pictures to judge by.
