Likely long pegs will be required to give her the boost she needs.

But since I only have the Alien to stand next to her, maybe the reduced height will play to the Alien's advantage?

The Nostromo astronauts are way too lanky and tall to even count.

Am I misremembering ALIEN? Wasn't that Lambert's bare foot which also prompted speculation for many years that she was stripped and ***** by the alien?

it was indeed suggested that the alien ***** her based on that. TBH I never really gave it much consideration, just figured she got tossed around and her boots fell off.

I've got that covered.

Always thought this was Kotto's foot -- half of him in foreground, half of him in back when camera racks to his top half. That's why Ripley reacts with such horror.

Doesn't look like Lambert's foot to me.

The **** suggestion I thought was the Alien's tail moving slowly between her legs and then up -- and then cut to her face shaking and screaming as she's entered.

You guys need to see this movie on the big screen.

No it's pretty equal. Just the lighting on the figure and a slight tone change because of what my cam was picking up from the light.
glad to hear that, thanks for the info.
i already prepared to justify it by human faces getting red faster then neck & hands :)

I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I've got like 3 female HT figs in my whole collection and 2 of them have rubber arms, Abigail Whistler & Sarah Connor. The only fig that doesn't have rubber arms is Catwomen, she has the same cheap looking arms but their covered in her gauntlets, so it does not matter how they look.

I checked out my A Murphy fig, yeah those are bespoke forearms. I guess HT don't bother with their female figs. :dunno

PS HT Alex Murphy, what an amazing sculpt, I still think its the best HT have done.
hmmm looks like my theory is correct. unless a female figure has rubber arms, no one cares to sculpt her forearms as one piece, always going with a two-pieces tube.
probably something to do with a need of a tube for hand pegs - and no space to sculpt a second layer of plastic around said tube for thin female arms.
a sculpted male forearm should be cut to test a part of this theory.

Twice on the big screen is enough for me. I still think it's Lambert's foot and have seen it referenced as such many times online. I'm not saying I'm "right" just that that's always been my impression and had to do a double take at your post because it was a surprise to see someone say that was Kotto.

The scene always played as dead Kotto in the background with a nude/semi-nude and possibly violated Lambert in the foreground to me. Definitely something that would be shocking/horrifying for Ripley to stumble across.

I turned 22 the summer that Alien was new in theaters.
It was Memorial Day weekend, 1979.

I went out to a bar I frequented.
The guy who owned the bar suggested we all go see "Alien"
because it had only just opened in the theaters that day.

It was a Saturday.

I didn't want to admit that I only had about $2.00 in my pocket-
not enough for the movie, even back in 1979, and certainly not enough
for dinner, which is what a bunch of us - a dozen or more people- intended
to do before seeing the movie.

I was going to tell everyone goodbye, and go home after we'd all left the'
bar.

There was street construction going on - and a huge dumpster was blocking the
view of the street - One guy said, "I'll be across the street and at the restaurant before
any of you slowpokes can get there!"

My feelings told me not to let him cross the street! I grabbed him by the arm,
and held him back: A moment later, a cab barreled down the street - none of us had
heard it because of the jackhammer that was in use by a construction worker, and
the dumpster had blocked any view of it.. I just knew to stop the guy from crossing
the street. It would have run the guy over, had I not stopped him.

" You saved my life!" he said. "Thank you!"

I forget what I said - I hope it was something modest, LOL!

"I'm afraid I can't eat dinner with you all, nor can I see the movie,"
I added. " I'm broke ." I showed them what little I had in my wallet.

"You saved my life - the least I can do is pay for your dinner." The guy said.

"And I'll pay for the movie for you." The bar owner told me.

I accepted both offers.

Dinner was great: I still recall: it was a cheeseburger deluxe with fries, and a soda.

The movie: Was intense! I loved it! It scared the hell out of me! i had heard it was
all that - and it truly was. I was with a dozen people in a crowded theater - but
the movie was as scary to me as if I'd been home alone, watching it for the first time
on tv... at night.

It is still, and almost 40 years later, will always be in my top ten of favorite movies.
