John Matrix had a pretty decent looking prototype though. That was arguably a bigger disappointment.

I think the top three most generic HT figure likeness are Ichobod Crane, Bruce Banner & John Matrix. I’ve see all three in person. I really hope I don’t feel the same “generic" way when I have my Ripley in hand.

Bruce Banner, if memory serves, looks like Ruffalo but with a wide, squashed face. Hot Toys does that a lot.

The prototype for this looked like garbage IMO. Glad we didn't get the same figure, honestly.

I'm still thinking that Ripley doesn't have make-up and her face is very "soft". No wrinkles, no glossy lips or "panda" eye shadow like Jyn Erso. But more I see video reviews, more she likes me.

I'm in the camp that found the very first prototype the best likeness. Although I'm starting to think this one is better than the press shots, but that doesn't put it over the prototype for me.
