Could someone who has this in hand tell me how long Jonesy is not including tail. Schleich has a farm cat that's a bout 5.5cm, which I think is just a bit too small, but if it's close, I might get one and repaint it.

This cat seems to have a horrified look on his face, so could work if the right size. I actually saw this at a local store. I should go back and measure to see if the 5.5 cm is a chest to butt measurement. I measured my cat at 18" head down, tip of nose to butt.

Not sure which I prefer.

The green ones are more accurate to Aliens and AVP, but the yellow ones have a less toyish paintjob (and are closer to Alien 3 and Resurrection, I guess).

Is this a mixed set?

I watched Alien to see if I could tell what color the egg is... and its very hard to tell. When Kane's flashlight is on it, it sure looks pale yellow. It's also translucent -- which the dark green ones don't look at all.

I might lean towards the sick pale ones, and maybe add a light dark wash myself.

The films are very inconsistent about what the eggs look like. Much like the Xenomorph designs themselves. The egg that comes with the Giger figure that was released a while ago looks like that photo though.
