With tax and shipping it's closing in on $500 (a pricepoint us OT old timers associate with something like a 1/6 Dewback or Tauntaun - my V.2 SSC Jabba was $670 shipped.) And the face looks like a hissing cat from certain angles.Pretty surprised this hasn't gone waitlist yet. I mean, it's Chewbacca.
Star Wars is truly dead.
If this was an screen accurate "new generation" Chewbacca figure for $325
Best photo I’ve seen so far better than the prototype photos
Hahaha. That's exactly what I always think when I see this figure. That's one tall forehead
Tell me about it. I'm sure you could still pick up an original Finn for half price somewhere. In fact I have one if someone is interestedTell me the 10th Anniversary of TFA is not going to be a thing.
If they do TFA 10th, I’d actually love Rey and Kylo 2.0s lol. At least Rey in her Scavenger get up. I think Rey and BB-8 or Rey vs Kylo would represent all of the Sequels really well.Tell me the 10th Anniversary of TFA is not going to be a thing.
Likely to be more a reflection of the quality of this figure and its price really; neither are great.Pretty surprised this hasn't gone waitlist yet. I mean, it's Chewbacca.

Definitely price!Likely to be more a reflection of the quality of this figure and its price really; neither are great.
I'm kind of hoping for it, because we never got the TFA Leia that we should've had, and Poe Dameron.Tell me the 10th Anniversary of TFA is not going to be a thing.
Wish they had offered a version without 3PO on there. Kind of ridiculousJust went back through my receipts, and the Star Wars Chewbacca I bought in 2016 cost me $220. Allowing for inflation, pandemic, post-pandemic, I still can't get my head round $430. Especially when that goofy face sculpt just doesn't do it for me. So glad I still love my Chewie and don't feel the need to double dip on him.
$220 was almost a 10 years ago pricing, does $400 seem reasonable? Double in price does seem a bit wowJust went back through my receipts, and the Star Wars Chewbacca I bought in 2016 cost me $220. Well, it was December 2016, so 9 years (without wishing to split any hairs, rooted or otherwise). More than double in price? No, that doesn't seem reasonable to me to be honest.$220 was almost a 10 years ago pricing, does $400 seem reasonable? Double in price does seem a bit wow
I'd say either the single figure route or if not, engineer the 3PO to be able to be built into a full figure... That would've jacked up the price even more though...Well, it was December 2016, so 9 years (without wishing to split any hairs, rooted or otherwise). More than double in price? If they'd made the "C3PO in a bag" an option, and a standard figure without as the base, then that might have given them a decent single figure price - but $430 is just crazy... IMO.
Definitely a single figure option at about $300. C-3PO as a fully buildable figure wouldn't entice me as, again, don't need another one and it just adds to the cost!I'd say either the single figure route or if not, engineer the 3PO to be able to be built into a full figure...
