The HS really is excellent. I had doubts about it before but now after seeing it in hand, it's a great likeness.

The attention to detail on the clothing is also excellent.

Great pics as always paramoremcr88! I agree with you too. Your close up shots are amazing but those arm joints are just sooo distracting! If I decide to cave and get this, I may try to find some kind of military overcoat to cover his arms! Again, wonderful photography!

As expected, brilliant photos Para! Agree with all that's been said. Your photos clearly show that it's a great figure. Likeness is amazing and undeniably Dwayne Johnson. The torso looks just right with the vest on, but those joints are indeed an eyesore. Too mechanical-looking. Might have to give him elbow pads to cover 'em up.

Great pictures but there something not right about this head sculpt . He looks like he's possessed by a demon or something . Just a lifeless expression on his face with creepy stare . It's just so opposite Dwayne Johnson . I'm gonna have to pass on this one .

Thanks very much! Yes, the sculpt really is excellent and instantly recognisably Dwayne Johnson. The elbow pads are a great idea!

I think I see more Dwayne Johnson in the 'Loading Toys' sculpt though.

Out of the 4, this is the HT GI Joe Retaliation figure I wanted to impress me the most, but it might be the most disappointing one of the bunch. Most disappointing, but not that bad. Should display nicely with the other 3.

Likeness being in the eye of the beholder makes this forum more interesting indeed

It's ironic though, that the franchise most fans didn't approve of due to the mediocre films turned out to be the line that's got some of HT's best figures. Not-so-great movie costumes/designs aside, HT's Joe figures look very, very good. The headsculpts on both Colton and Storm Shadow are great, while Snake Eyes looks like an real man in costume.

That loading toys sculpt is way worse! Head shape is way off & the eyes are dead!

I am really looking forward to this guy arriving. I will be getting both him and MoS Superman, so it will be an awesome time for me. But i need to find more display room...

Not too keen on the Loading Toys sculpt. You can tell who it's supposed to be but it doesn't really look like him to me.

The black shirt? It does roll up a bit at the waist but I used a micro screwdriver just to tuck it in neatly. And once the vest is back on, you don't see it anyway.

I wish they would have given him a better body but in the end I'm to big of a Dwane Johnson fan to pass this up
