The close up shot of the HS I see a lot of the Rock in, the shots from a distance not so much though :/

This is what I was thinking.

Something about the body seems off as well. Could be the colour or the texture but it doesn't look like it's the same quality as previous HT figures.

Same. I see quite a bit of Rock in the close ups as well. Show me this a couple of years ago, & I'm thinking I'd be pretty impressed. But today, maybe not as much.

The texture & paint app on the close up pics of the proto head sculpt is nice, but I'm guessing a bit of that will be lost in production

But since it comes with the black shirt, they might be there since you can see them in the "movie".

You can see part of the Samoan tats in the early proto pics, but I'm not sure if they'd bother with the actual release. The official proto pics don't help. I guess we'll see.

Good catch. Looks to be the Arnold body with the single elbows or maybe the Stallone one.

I was going to say the same thing. It seems that his facial features have been sculpted well so it looks good and recognizable up close, but the overall shape isn't quite there so it looks less like him from a distance. One thing that stood out to me were the ears. Without comparing to actual photos yet, I think maybe they stick out a bit too much. It looks really cool and realistic though, if these were cheaper or I was richer, I'd consider adding the Rock to my collection.

I don't like the elbow joint. It is flexible but makes the whole arm looks cheap, like a cheap toy quality.

The distanced shot looks like "splitzer" from Dexter season 7.

I have been holding out for this one, however if it is $250 I will have to pass it up. He shouldn't cost more than Storm Shadow who comes with 2 headsculpts.

I never liked any of the new GI JOE movies so this is an easy pass!

Parts for me.

Double jointed elbows with sculpted forearms? The elbows make it look very Popeye-ish. Not so happy about that. Detailed as it may be, another company actually did a better job on Dwayne Johnson.

HT did a great job on this. I'd buy it for a Roadblock figure but ditch the Battle c a c a stuff.
