They kinda already did that with the War Machine Punisher based on that mobile game. I could totally see HT, oops, I mean Hono, recycling that sculpt.

I think if this unmasked wolvie comes with his civilian biker costume, it will be received better.
It's an easy job for HT/Hono, there's literally a ton of template for Leather jacket, shirt + jeans. Just ask the factory to come up with something, as long it looks like comic biker Logan

That would’ve gotten Hono a more positive reception from the fans.

So even though I really dislike HT's Malibu Stacy tactic of releasing the same figure with "new hat" or in this case, new headsculpt, I've decided I'm gonna pick this sucker up. The headsculpt is too mint (and better than the masked sculpt) to pass on. :/

There are several Hono styled figures I imagine I would pick up, and a Mike Zeck-styled Punisher is definitely on my list.

I’d probably buy every Punisher they produce if they did ever do it but the one I want the most would be a Steve Dillion Punisher design

I did a Google search and see this being offered from various secondary retailers in the U.S. and Japan. Popcultcha has it available (authorized Australian retailer for Hot Toys). Seems like it should be pretty easy to get.

Oh, good call. I see it's avail for pre-order on Time Walker Toys. Never ordered from them before. Does anyone know what their shipping rates (in the US) are usually like and do they charge tax?

Free shipping over $350,otherwise shipping prices are decent. No tax. They are my favorite domestic dealer, highly recommended.

Thanks! May I ask what the typical range for "decent" tends to be? $10 or so?

Edit: I fiddled around with adding an item in the cart and one item costs approx. $15 or so...not bad I guess.

I can say from personal experience that that's cheaper than it actually costs to ship a Hot Toys figure in most cases.

Just to add regarding Timewalker... the free shipping does not require $350 in a single order. If you select to bundle for free shipping they will hold your items, like BBTS pile of loot, until you have $350 or more in purchased product. Once you reach that they will automatically send it all to you free. There are some exceptions for oversized items but those are clearly labeled and are always shipped separately.

They are also the only store I have seen that gives automatic discounts off of the price (and no they don't bump up the price to make it seem like a discount). Basically rewards points without having to accumulate rewards points.

So by going through them you get an upfront discount, no sales tax, and free shipping if you bundle. They also double box everything unless you get a large freight drop like the Batmobile or something. I've also only dealt with companies that are equal to them in customer service, never better.
