The only thing that makes me not consider this is the prospect of a remake of the old WM.

I can see sales for this one rising though after a deleted scene shows up.

Man I really enjoyed the movie but have no idea why they are releasing this or the bust. Only disappointing thing for me in the movie was Rhodey didn't don this suit at the finale. Oh well.

Yep.. Now if only HT just reconsider this and turns it into IM2 2.0 instead.

I can't see HT doing a WM 2.0 simply because the after market value doesn't reflect a huge demand for it. The other 2.0s and variants had through-the-roof prices on the 1.0s.

I will likely be the minority in purchasing this item regardless the screen time. IMO IP wasn't a big player in the film and I prefer this look so I am buying.

Yeah it's unfortunate for me as my disappointment in IM2 kept me from buying the 1.0 when it was available. Now it seems like a steal to me for the original price and design. I guess I'll just keep an eye on the Sales forum or ebay.

Still not sure where I want to spend my money on Marvel stuff. I like IM3 Tony and the Mk42 but seem too overpriced for my taste. Might just go with the PPS, see if I can get Tony parted and then get all the 1/4 NECA

Although I don't think we are the minority, remember how many people were waiting to pre order Iron Patriot before the movie was out? people that dislike stuff are always more vocal and particularly around these forums

So far I'll get The Hearbreaker, Hyper Velocity Suit, Gemini, Silver Centurion, Nightclub, Red Snapper, Igor, WM, IP and obviusly the Mark XLII or Extremis Suit as I like to call it, the good news is that I saw the other suits and I think I won't get any of them

Hmmm. Looks like that. You can see a slot on the right side of the back where the 'clip' would go inside.

Based on this pic, it looks like the Laser canon does not actually slide on the rails. Rather you remove it and it clips into either slot. Which would suggest: its removable. And when this product is released it would likely be parted out. Ergo ( in theory) one could potentially purchase an extra canon. And (pay attention, this last part is crucial) you could then attach this hypothetical spare canon to the other vacant shoulder of War Machine giving him 2 (dos) shoulder canons !

Thats crazy Id still like to slide it but.. oh well, 2 cannons thats sounds good

I don't get this question. Why does it matter if the armor is in the movie or not?

If they made a Red Avengers Hulk, people would buy it but it sure as hell wasn't in the Avengers.

I heard all the suits in this movie don't get enough screen time besides 2-3, more or less, but that's not going to stop me from buying the Heart Breaker and Gemini. I love the design so I'll be getting it.

I don't see the argument between the amount of screen time an armor gets and if it justifies buying a figure because of that. If people like the way it looks, I don't see the problem of them buying it because of that fact alone.

Why does it matter exactly if the particular suit gets enough screen time?

Not one second in the IM3 movie. And IP was basically a high tech taxi.

Or a backup for Air Force One. Savin made good use of it though!
