Thanks, mate. I must be blind. Went through 7 pages and I was like, it must've been removed or moved somewhere, because last time I saw a Photo Review thread moved into a whole new section and I forgot where it was. I guess it skipped by me. Even though I have Mk1 WM, I'm tempted to get this since it looks so wonderful! A local store has it for $250 sans taxes and I might be just snatch it... but I have Iron Patriot coming my way some day so I might just pass.

No worries, I have gone through pages before missing it time and time again. A second set of eyes always helps, I was not fortunate enough to get that one I may go back at one point and pick him up. I as well was on the fence and have the Iron Patriot on pre order I did not have the mk ll WM on pre order but when I was at my local store and once I held it and the I do like the finish on it as well. I would say take the plunge you could always release him down the line if you don't have a need for it.

Don't try and remove it, I had the same thing happen to my Krote from 3A, I removed it to reveal the unpainted plastic under the hair, yours being metal, Im not sure what would be underneath, maybe a base coat or something.
I sent mine back and it was repainted kind of, it put me off though and I have since sold it.

What's that got to do with the adhesive properties of different paints to different materials?

I've built models off and on for close to 30 years. Solvent based paints stick better to plastic. Everyone knows that. Chem 101.
Nothing at all. I never inquired about adhesive properties or models you toy with. :dunno :lol

Ugh, I am so fed up with SSC right now. I was supposed to get War Machine three weeks ago, and instead they sent me the Crow. As of now they've had their returned item for over a week and still haven't shipped out War Machine.

Reading the reviews here, I really hope the one I receive is not defective, because I would hate to have to go through their returns department again.

Hey all...Got my WM today...Like most everyone else, I LOVE the diecast...Mainly because it gives it more weight, keeps it balanced better...So far my light switch in the back is working ok, and not breaking free...Knock on wood...Only thing Im not crazy about is the left knee doesnt have the ratcheting like the right one...Which makes the left knee alittle weaker, but not really a big issue...Overall, a great figure...Here are my crappy pics...lol...Wish I was better at lighting with these things...This is right out of the box, just to have something to put on here...

Same thing here brother - still waiting.

Mine arrived broken from plasticplayground (eBay) who luckily is an official dealer for SS. They dont have spare piece to fix mine and offered me $15 credit and to glue piece back on...wtf ???? The broken item is the hip flap with emblem. Boooooooo...will likely return it.....

Finally after a number of hours contemplating and searching everywhere to accommodate my budget
manage to grab an exclusive for AU$ 275.00 + shipping..

Now I am on the waiting game...

So, because i had to destroy a torso, I decided to give the paint job on it a bit of a stress test. I rotated and over-rotated the abs and chest and twisted it all the way around very roughly, crunched, uncrunched it and did just about anything you could do to it for about 20 minutes while watching tv, again, all very roughly and carelessly and this was all the damage I could do to the paint.

Also cracked the front skirt of the upper torso by rotating it 90 degree too many times, but it really isn't supposed to do that... This is war machine, not Richard Reeds.
