The did the same thing last year showed the thor dark world suit and people held of on buying the avengers version same thing might happen again

I can still see the justification for the Mk42 over the Mk43 in a Iron Man collection. I do think the 43 has the better color scheme but when surrounded by a bunch of red IM figures, the gold 42 will stand out more and add more diversity.

I agree with that. I only have one iron man though and those are his colors...$310 would be nice to put towards GotG...I suppose i could be patient...

The only thing stopping me from canceling is the wait until we'd get this new armor and how cool they would look together but I still think I may very well be canceling this...

Its a pretty safe bet its 43 or higher. He hasn't changed the color of an existing mk yet.

Well except for him telling Pepper he wasn't going to build more. It looks just like an upgraded 42, he'll probably call it something new, but its probably like the 3-4 transition.

I'm really surprised at how great this figure turned out. I'm gonna wait two or three months before I even consider pulling the trigger though, to see if the shoulder breaking issue is very common. It mite be better to just wait for HT's to make the avengers 2 mark 47. I'm sure they will spit the 47 out fast when the movie releases since it's basically just a repaint (a better color scheme IMO) and hopefully they will fix any potential issues between now and then.

I like it but I LOVE the AoU armor. I'm almost 100% certain I will be canceling this.

The Mark 47 title was the original rumor name for the Mark 42, so it might just be leftover information about that.
