While I hope it's not the case, for all we know the battle-damaged parts of the Mark XLII are plastic. The detailing in the prototype photos doesn't look any worse than past releases to my eye, anyway. In fact I'd say its their best since the Mark V.I hope this whole diecast thing gets done with HT. I agree level of detail will SUFFER because diecast CAN NOT outdo plastic as far as fine detailing and delicacy.
I'm not saying this figure will be bad, I'm saying I prefer regular PLASTIC MMS releases. Proof in the pudding- when you can, in hand, compare BD detailing on Mk VI to 42 when it comes out.

So does this mean they won't do a plastic MMS version of the XLII?
well this just showed up
I wonder if the RDJ head is plastic?
Lol, no it doesn't. They're both good, but the Mark XLII looks the most like RDJ in my opinion.the mark VII has the best likeness IMO, looks just like RDJ. this HS looks like luigi
can anyone tell me why the arc reactor on the mark 42 is a triangle one and not circular? does it have to do with the extremis plot and thus tony reverts back to the triangular reactor? thanks in advance!
