Definitely. Comic venom just looks superior. I don’t even like sm2 venom since he pretty much sucks but he looks cool so I was planning on it but that comic venom is a grail and it’s in scale with other Spider-Man figures. I don’t know why they made him a literal giant. Venom is just buff.
I know we've already broken it down but the more we see the more it just shows lol. They just went with his biggest version from the game since in game he does change in size, the biggest to me being the wing sequence (for reference, Miles is like a little ball in his hand and Peter is basically like a little racoon or ferret climbing on his back during that sequence). The problem is, however, they didn't make the right proportions for that size as we know since most likely, just like Carnage (which is why movie Carnage is mostly big gut and nothing else), they just started with movie Venom as base. Since movie Venom was base body, they upscaled it and called it a day without making right proportions for traps, back of shoulders around collar, head size, quite possibly the more I see of it, even the hands.

I just want the figure in hand now so I can get the coping process out of the way say I have a Mac Gargan-sized Venom, and call it a day myself. I'm praying it's not as bad in hand as it is on video or photos. I would wait for tank in value but also I do want the rewards points. Plus I had preorder ever since it released. I also have the same sentiments you have about game Venom from SM2. I did like his look but that's about all I could give them for credit, his look especially with the wings. But that's it. CMS is Venom is also ordered. While on topic of Venom, Hot Toys SM3 Venom at some point? Please?

Also meant to add that those claw accessories aren't really fitting for the figure of the character. The finishers from him in the game don't even have these. He was like Clayface, combining his hands together to make a big mace ball, or slamming the ground making symbiote waves and tendrils effects, or elongating his arms with blunt ends for his hands swinging them like whips.

Not saying Venom hasn't done claws to this extent before, cause he has done such in comics, but for the VGM figure they don't really make sense and are kind of just, there to me.

after a lot of problems with fedex he is here, the family got bigger but also smaller...poor miles
