I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems to me Hong Kong has more holidays then any other place I've ever heard about.

It's a 2 week holiday and not a month. Chinese New Year is a huge deal over there. Its a huge part of their culture. My wife works for a HK based company and they deal with it every year. She has employees that don't work for those 2 weeks or work very limited.

Let's face it, when they listed EVERY single upcoming release as "March", that was their way of saying "We'll address them all in March after our holiday", not "All of these figures will actually get released in March.

Exactly. And I was corrected by my wife. Chinese New Year is just 1 week. So to use that as an excuse for delays is pretty lame. In manufacturing I'm sure it puts you behind schedule but not to the extent that it should take months. Look how long DX11 was delayed. Original release was December and he's only now beginning to ship in the US. I mean he went up for PO 9 months ago. Hot Toys feels no obligation to explain anything to the public for whatever reason.

That's what I'm confused about to. It's more of a, we'll get to it when we get to it, kind of attitude and with the delays on some figures I'm sure that PO's were canceled. I'm sure that they would step up more and be more responsible to their customers if they had any real competition.

But they don't :gah: so they don't care about communicating with us.

They announce the figure, put it up for PO, delay it for months or even years and then they roll around in their money.

Rinse and repeat

The only instance I can think of any recent 'updates' from HT was a post on Facebook where they had Monger, Hawkeye, DX10, Batpod, and Luke as 'coming very soon.' And that was last fall. They also seem to jump around to different projects. No offense to Leslie Cheung but it seems like that figure is the most important thing to them now (besides IM 3). Imagine if that figure comes out before this whole backlog of figures that they've created. I wish they'd just explain something so customers (who pay a lot of money for their product) so we have an idea of how to budget and set expectations. It's kind of nice in the rare instances when they pop up early for release but it also hurts the wallet when they are unexpected. PR is not much of a strong suit for Hot Toys.

I like to tell myself that Hot Toys is always so busy working on such amazing current and future projects that they don't have time to update the public frequently. They're like a brilliant artist that can't be bothered but their work is so unparalleled we cut 'em some slack;)

Anyone else that has the team completed and getting HULK starting to feel the excitement for this one?!?

Still waiting on this guy and the Mark VII to complete my Avengers team. I know the Mark VI was in the first part of the film, but it wont feel like the official Avengers until VII comes out.

In Australia we only just got cap America. Thor and widow are suppose to be next month. Hulk and mk VII in June. Very hard to get excited. :(

I have been getting a few pieces from Popcultcha down in Vic , but with the new Postage prices from Side Show - USA , I think its Cheaper to get from them now ?

Hulk is a Big Boy, so I am expecting about $50.oo USD in Postage ??

I just got Notification for a DX11 from Side Show , and its a Sizeable Box mate, and they only slugged me for $33.oo USD - Fed Ex to Australia !! plus it was a VIP version, so same price as normal, but No Way would have I got teh VIP If I had bought any where in Oz ??

So, I am giving SS another shot, and see how the Postage prices stack up ?

If they get crazy, well, then back to Popcultcha & Ebay , as there are some good Re-sellers on there now :)

PopCultcha has CHEAP prices, free and quick postage. I'm only gonna go outside of them for two reasons;
1. I have the Hulk pre-ordered elsewhere
and
2. Certain out of stock figures I want off Ebay.
