Please let there be some new (good) info on this figure in the next week! I've already been bombarded with all the bad news going on with JP4.

Hopefully some new photos too!

I just snagged one of the last Hot Toys Mark VII off ebay the other day for $390. Not bad considering its up to the $700 range or higher on Amazon and other sites. Just have to save up again for this guy again and I'll have the big four :yess:

Hopefully we'll at least the finished box art soon. If so, he should only be another month or two before release.

Hulk is one I've always kinda wanted to have alongside my other childhood faves of Superman, Batman, Spiderman and Wolverine and he's the only one of that lot that I don't have a representation of. Yet, I've been trying to cut out everything else and focus on the main Aliens & Robots franchises, even down to contemplating selling my superheroes.

So I'm kind of in 2 two minds about whether I should buy Hulk. This one looks good enough to me, though I'm sure a future one will be better again.

Sorry i couldn't resist :)

Same as m8 although i would say Hulk is number 1 hence why i am getting 2 of him. If they make another 1 i'll get that as well.

I think if collection focusing doesn't come natural to you, buying out of the focus you have is going to be a collecting-long, nagging struggle. Give in and have a few faves outside your main collection. It's worth it.

Thanks. I'd so love to. Trouble is one thing can lead to another so easily. I'll see how tempted I am when Timcent gets this in...and how my finances are at the time.

Yup, try to have some variety and experience different figures, instead of the 12th or 13th DX 10 T800 in your collection :lol

I tried to do similar thing with batman, and I got up to 2 DX12, still have 1 unopened one, but I'm contemplating whether to open it or to sell it and use the fund on something else. :gah:

Dont just get whats cool. There are way too many "cool" items. Get what you have a personal connection with. For example, I only get super hero stuff because I grew up watching the cartoons, reading the books, and buying the toys. I grew up with those characters so now I get the fancy high end versions of them because of all the nostalgia. I think terminator stuff is awesome but I have no personal connection to it so I don't spend my money on it. Hopefully that makes sense...

I want pictures already!!! Hulk Angry!!

That absolutely makes sense. Terminator obviously is the thing I have the more personal childhood connection with. There was a bit of superhero stuff aswell though. Hence why I'm considering Hulk, I've always had it in my mind that he'd be one to buy.

The other big 3 of the Avengers have also kinda been on my mind, but moreso since the film than any time going back to my childhood. They might come under the category of just 'cool' to me I dunno.

****ing money. Thats what everything boils down to.

Take Shmi's advice a-dev.. & do what your heart tells you. :wink1:

I've always kept a mental note of what figures I'll REALLY buy.. as opposed to the see sawing nonsense we often go on with while here. :lol

I've got a definite list of about 30 all up so far - both announced wants & unannounced, & I'll likely whittle that down as time goes on.

A focus is always good, as you'd know. :exactly:
