If the figure has the same general design as other HT bodies, you would have to crack open the torso to remove the arms

Correct. However, I wasn't expecting him till April or May anyway.

Only if you take one of the shelves out, width wise you wont have a problem, he'll still be too tall to fit on just one shelf though
