Those pics look great. It's such a waste of a character for what Marvel (the Russo's) did to him in CW.... Oh well. Was a great part of the movie though. For those who want this I hope HT still makes him and they don't get cold feet after the movie was released seeing how little screen time he got and his ultimate fate.
I thought he played a decent part in the film even if it was small. The thing is the film didn't really need a villain for the heroes to go against but more of a catalyst to set things off which is essentially what he did.

Even though the stage was already set for the most part with previous events, the conflict in Lagos was sort of the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.
From a character standpoint he set so much in motion. Both literally and emotionally, so even though he had a 'small' role I think he's a pretty essential collectible... and badass looking. Pretty beautiful figure in it's rough and ready/intimidating look & execution.
I loved everything Rumlow did in both movies. Every line he uttered was gold to me. Even something as simply as "headed up!" (in response to "Sir, counsel's been breached....Black Widow's up there"; as to say, "F that B!"). Him and Batroc is a night a day comparison. Batroc's segment was cool and served it's purposes, but Rumlow added something way bigger to both movies that can't be defined by his total screen time.
He was awesome in TWS and in my eyes it carries over well in CW
My big gripe is that they didn't let him get away. I think the whole story could've played out the same way, but instead of his intent being murder by suicide, he could've set off a bomb that wasn't attached to him. Wanda could've made the same move causing the same result, and he could've got away while they were distracted by the devastation. Even if they never brought him back, the option to do so would be there and the idea of him on the loose is way cooler

You guys are crazy -- not enough screen time so he's not a good villain?
Like Ultron was better? Or Malekai?
Crossbones rocked. Glad he went out with a bang on his own terms too. Great figure. BEST part of Civil War. The movie went downhill after Crossbones blew up.

Those alternate design concepts featured in that "Art of" book are great....I liked the idea that his gear looked put together on his own and how much thought went into that white cross smeared across his chest. Grill played it to the hilt here. Made every moment he was on screen count. Kept him tightly wound and lethal. When he spits that line "There you are you son of a *****!"...it was one of the best takeaway moments in the movie.

I'm not financially in the market for this (being a Canadian) but I want to get it. Not sure why. Just a weirdly pivotal character and cool looking (which helps). And that's probably enough.
