nebula or Adam warlock saved the avengers in the original infinity gauntlet story right? Would be kind of similar.

well the difference is that Nebula took the Gauntlet from Thanos while he was distracted. Stephen just rewinding time would be lazy writing we'd have to assume that Thanos has the gauntlet with all the Infinity Gems in it if everyone's all down. But if Thanos already has the reality gem while Stephen has the Time Gem, he could just alter reality and get it. Sooo I guess Stephen wouldn't even be able to do anything either way.

I was thinking more like strange getting a hold of the gauntlet or something. To be clear I'm just speculating not saying it's like my favorite ending or anything.

I could see them mostly saving Strange for the second part of Infinity War when the **** really hits the fan.

I'd agree with this...maybe Strange makes some critical appearance in the first IW, but he's one of the game-changers when it gets incredibly desperate. And LOL based on my own comments re accessories think I should get this fig.

Agreed. And there's also the fact that this figure not only has accessories, but also a fantastic, complete outfit and an amazing sculpt.

IMO, this looks on the level of Avengers Loki, and I can't see them topping this. I don't care to match characters up by movie, I just go by how much I love the figure and get the version I want - I can't see myself caring to ever upgrade from this one with how fantastic it is. Easy decision for me to go with it.

Exactly. An Avengers movie will not have that Ditko Doctor Strange feel like this movie did. When I look at it that's what I'll remember and that's another reason for the pre-order right away!

IMO, this looks on the level of Avengers Loki, and I can't see them topping this. I think you may be right. I liked the movie, but didn't really have any desire to own figures until I saw how beautiful the costume on this one was. I think this is going to have massive shelf presence.

Agreed. Loki has a special place in my collection (and my heart lol) so I picked up the TDW version too. But Avengers Loki is my grail. You'd be set with just that one. I think this will be my only Strange... he looks incredible. I can't imagine them improving much on the look!
