Man, I am excited to get this now! The eyes turned out amazing. If only the robe was longer, this would have been perfect. Now what to do with my regular Anakin?

I picked up my Anakin and he looks great! Heres a quick iphone pic I took to show the eyes. Theyre painted really well. AND almost look illuminated in hand. its a neat effect!

I think the neck is covered by some protective layer to protect the paint.

I just preordered at popculture in Oz, didn't want to wait any longer and risk it selling out. Those last pics just convinced me to get it. Those eyes are awesome!

Yes - I got one from https://www.d-artstudios.com/ and it looks much better IMO. I'll try to get some pics snapped of it soon with the regular Anakin.

Is the neck really that much lighter or is that camera flash?

It's just the protective wrap/film that Hot Toys puts around the neck to protect against the neck being stained by the clothes or getting paint rubs while still in the package.

Got early emperor and esb vader incoming which is my 1:6 budget for a while so I'd like to snag this one further down the road.

I cancelled my SS order and placed it with Popcultcha. Even after eating their NRD I still saved around $50.

Yeah, not only is the figure itself a lot cheaper, but also the shipping costs.

Was hard to tell if we'd get this in Oz and yet i paid the NRD to SSC just incase.
They wouldn't refund so i canceled.
