Hey, Rzez...

He looks so great there... That's such a spot-on pose... Coco's base looks really good too...
And I'm guessing you're one of the few like me who gave him a little water treatment?
I really think that taking a little time to get him into a him into a classic pose and giving him a spray really brings this little green weirdo to life!!

You're really good at posing figures I've noticed... I've stolen quite a few of your poses!! :duff

Here's mine as well... Sits right on my desk next to me and makes me smile every time I glance at him...

And I swear... Sometimes I think he's talking to me!! :dunno

And he's saying "stop surfing **** you must". ;)

Nice pics, Rzeznik - love the pose and nice work futzing the robe. :clap

Just like HT Chewy, I find that tilting HT Yoda's head forward helps with the likeness (making the head less round looking.) And as with all the HT heads that aren't spot-on likeness wise, a harsher light always brings out the likeness too.

Rzeznik's pose is smart also because the hands up like that helps to cover the slight "fat"/puffy cheeks look he has and you aren't looking at the eyes straight-on. For me, the best look is the closed eyes head slightly tilted down... and he really looks right out of the movie.

And definitely not Hasbro on this fig in-hand - the paint and detailing is just amazing. The main issues with the head/s are the blank expression, the slightly too-fat look, and the symmetry of the head, ears and eyes. He just looks too clean and neat. The reddish wash doesn't help too - not sure how that got in there.

I'll never understand why HT decided to make the accessories (like many of their 1/6 extras) underscale - the lantern really bummed me out because it's around half the size it should be, but hey - it matches the underscale mouse droid and interrogation droid.:gah::lol

Working on a base for my yoda. Using some chopped up leaves and an aquarium decoration.

Thanks! I agree while some of these arent 100% likeness, getting that right pose makes all the difference imo. Adding a bit of personality to them. :D

Very cool pose!

Can't go wrong with a pose looking natural when you use a direct screen grab from the film as your guide and base your pose on a pose straight from the film. I'd say about 85% of my figures are exact poses done in a film based on a screen grab.
Thanks. I agree, thats why I prefer 1:6 for the range of articulation you can get with them and having the option to change it up every once and awhile. :D

Entitled Hooters girl sues...

The company told everyone they were giving out a Toyota, then she was blindfolded and led into the parking lot to be given a **** plastic toy for doing a lot of work to upsell customers to make the company money. Pretty messed up of them to do.

I would have quit.

I wonder if it actually said Toyota on a sign or if everything was verbal since toy Yoda will sound like Toyota.
