I hope that if we get a new version they refine the sculpt a bit. I bet it would be an incentive to get people to double buy.

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to get a custom poncho, or maybe HT should do a Rey with a wet hair hs if they are going to do another version of this

For you or I little custom work isn't a big deal. For each member like ourselves there 10 that would rather spend the money and not worry about it, you know? The wet hair isn't a bad idea though.

It’s the only thing that I could think of that made that outfit look different , unless you want HT to include a blanket

I mean extrapolating on that she could come with some general Ach-To kibble from the huts. But the original resistance version is sold out now. I don't think HT could have ever expected she'd be in that outfit as long as she was in this film. So given that availablity aspect plus the incentive of a revised sculpt, they may have a good seller. Maybe as a con exclusive.

How come everybody has the belt up so high?

It's lower in both movies.

Somebody else mentioned this earlier, saying they didn't know how (?) but I don't see a response.

Could it be the belt is too tight to go lower maybe? I also notice that nobody seems to have the shirt pulled down. In the movie it’s pretty low cut and farther down, but i don’t have the figure so I don’t know.
But i did just buy it so i should find out soon enough (curse you IronManny!)

Yeah shouldn’t have made it an exclusive in the first place. I guess I could see a wet, dirty, resistance variant outfit in the wings

That's what it sounded like. But it's just a tension buckle.



And yeah the shirt is not long enough. The tailoring on this is not exactly Jyn level craftsmanship in general. I hope they release a better one.

I'm glad I picked this version of Rey up from a fellow collector! It's a great representation of her from Ep VIII!

Not sure if this is a teaser of things to come, but the new Luke figure has Rey with a poncho in one of the pics. The Resistance Rey didn't come with a poncho...

Good catch! I hope they do make an updated Resistance/Poncho Rey. Still debating on what Rey I would get from this movie. I'm *this* close to pre-ordering Jedi Training Rey.

If you already have this RO Rey from TFA, I would get the Jedi (not her training outfit) Rey from TLJ, even if they make a RO Rey from TLJ with the poncho.

If you don't already have this figure, then I'd get a potential RO Rey 2.0 for my TLJ Rey.

I have one. This is not mine, but my usual painter, Paul Prentice, did this one. He's a fantastic painter and I love Dean's sculpts but this sculpt is...off. I think the facial features are too small.

Daisy actually always reminded me of Jake Lloyd a bit and her character does start in a similar place.
