Very helpful pics, thanks for posting them!
It's the reissued version 1.Great to see the side by side.... but is that Sideshow Fett the v1 or the new v2...?
^ This is along the lines of what I was getting at.To me it's not really about opinions. I just think this idea that someone at a toy company gets to make a decision to actually redesign characters from one of the most loved (and obsessively known) film trilogies in movie history because they "don't look good enough" is pretty arrogant.
I mean the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz does look a little cheesy (hey, limitations of makeup at the time) and in need of a facesculpt tweak, right?
And in ROTJ Bossk was an incomplete costume relegated to a background character (like Dengar in ESB, he's barely visible in the actual movie and isn't in the scene pictured) - ESB is where he's featured and looks cool.
SSC Bossk has issues beyond the likeness - to me he just has a bit of a wonky look overall with the sausage arms due to the odd decision to add (obviously visible) wrist and ankle articulation and his legs looking like a skinny boy with his pants rolled up too far. To me the figure captures the shrieking bird Bossk in Dark Forces though.
I think it probably could, i don't want to try though one strap on my hot toys one came off instantly due crap glue & it was a pain regluing under the armour. Hot toys is slightly smaller & magnetized though. Thanks for the comparisons Ren! Based on those pics alone I have to say that the SS compared came across much better than I thought! Yes HT looks better but it is not "night and day" as I originally thought. Ren can the HT jet pack be put on the SS?
Thanks! I'm still on the fence with HT version as I currently own SS and weighing the need to spend the extra $360 Can. I do like HT back pack and maybe make a eBay purchase.I think it probably could, i don't want to try though one strap on my hot toys one came off instantly due crap glue & it was a pain regluing under the armour. Beautiful pics. Once again SS version still has the boxy chest look to it after all these years.....argh. Like it's 1 size too big.nice shots, Kylo. Here's one I took too, but with SS v2 Fett.

I know there's been some discussion about the gloves on the HT release, and their toy-like appearance; do you think shooting them with some dull-coat would improve them? I don't think it'd hurt.
