Those in hand pics are off the charts! That green cape is.. why didn't they make the Thor cape like that

they did, the new Thor cape is the same. Mines on it's way.

This figure looks like it turned out great. The clothing (especially that cape, that's crazy), head sculpt and gear all look top notch.

I'm not getting one and I'm not a huge Loki fan, but this looks like figure of the year potential to me.


Only thing I don't like about it is that neck. Everything else? Looks just as good as the proto, if not better.

Saw this old pic at Toy Haven's blog. Haven't really followed HT's intentions of releasing the Thor Loki and then the eventual canning of the idea; still this one would've looked cool in its own right.

I know that the chest armor still needed work but I still hope to god that they revisit this figure.

why? its the same as the current figure except staff which you can get with odin and the chest piece.

No it isn't

For one, the HS would require changes, shorter hair, cleaner look and he was thinner in the face in Avengers

You're right about the staff, but we also would get the casket

The helmet is completely different, his outfit has a number of changes that i would say sre significantly different to the Avengers suit

I'm in bed right now tho so i can't be fussed listing them

when hot toys posts final production pics on their facebook page, the item is released to ship within days. loki was posted yesterday. i'll guess sideshow will be processing very soon.

Are there pictures out yet of Loki in the dark world???

Ive been following the coverage of Thor2 pretty closely and haven't any Loki Picts official or other wise.

So i did a quick google search and found this nice side by side

Granted Loki doesn't have the shoulder Armor on in the left hand pic but i thunk the differences are clear

His pants are olso more of a golden brown (texture like sun) colour in Thor

The chest armour is mainly a tunic in the avengers with pieces attached to it

And also...

Both are awesome costumes, and i reckon we'll see the other, perhaps as an SSC like Caps rescue costume...

not even close ~ i think the avengers costume is way cooler.

my mistake; earlier i was dashing through and mistook someone's fan picture for a snapshot. so yeah, dunno what the look is for tdw.

fig is still awesome hot and i will have my thor set and be done with them.

Tgor would definately need his Helmet in though, just to give him that extra height/presence, that pic that OMG posted with the 3 together, Thor just seemed a lot shorter and kinda like a secondaey character

i replaced thor's thor head with an avengers head and will figure out how to get the helmet on him; then i'll display loki without the helmet, so that should help balance them out. then again, i ain't picky and i didn't like loki's original costume (those pants! so weird).

but it's going to be a long time before that configuration sees the light of day since i have thor and odin dressed like trailer trash thugs right now for my nolan bats universe ~ and loki is going to join them right out of the box.

but one day...they will look just fine on a shelf together.
