They go for that much? Hey if you have that much money to blow away, by all means do it but I personally can never see that justified. Much like the DX11- custom heads where people were paying $2000 for a sculpt. The museum outfit should be able to kitbash together, the only problem I see is getting his scarf.

Scarf would not be that much trouble, altho probably expensive. All you'd have to do is start haunting the tie section in department stores' men's sections, until you found a similar pattern. Then you could buy the tie and make a scarf by cutting the tie up.

Tie silk is excellent, tends to be the finest quality and is more "to scale" than most fabrics. It might be pricey though.... good ties can go for well upwards of $50.
