Just got my Loki damn so far he's my favorite. But I think the hulk going to out do him when he arrives.

I had zero interest in Loki when it was first announced. Then I bought him just to go with my Avengers display. Then I got him in hand and its probably my favorite Hot Toy. How is this possible?

Seriously though, the costume, the head sculpt, the helmet...all top notch quality that comes with Hot Toys.

It's also interesting to see that he's wearing the same armor/ outfit, albeit sort of rusted.

Well it's not 100% the same, if you look closely. It's like a mix between his fully armored coat and his "casual" Asgardian coat from the Avengers.

ETA: I take it that giving Loki new clothes in prison wasn't exactly a high priority, so this outfit is his armored coat, stripped of some of the armor and the cape.

You're right. I was comparing it to the Hot Toys figure, so I assumed the differences were just due to the fact that obviously it can't be 100% the same. Thanks for pointing that out!

I don't want to make this much of an issue or a silly argument but I work professionally as a graphic designer and illustrator and these seem pretty obvious to my eye.

You also have to consider when those scenes with Tom Hiddleston were shot vs. when the figure was released.
With a November due date Thor 2 is obviously in post production - in fact as of even December 2012 Thor 2 was already in post production according to IMDB as special effects can take over a year to complete. The Loki figure wasn't even out in Hong Kong until like maybe 2- 3 months ago...

HT should've made Sleipnir as it appeared in the movie!
Would've been a very powerful display piece.
