Wow, I always thought Cap would be my figure of the year, but this is just unbelievably awesome

And this version makes that leaked pic version from Thor just look plain in my eyes now, so I'm glad this is the version we're getting if there's only going to be one.

Remember the scene where Loki and Thor are fighting on top of Stark Tower? During the Chitauri battle? Loki stabs thor in the stomach with a dagger during their fight. That's where these are from. I'm guessing he has two b/c he must have them on him during the movie but we just don't see them.

He used it on the beginning of the film, he threw those daggers on 2 shield agents And at the end, he used it again against thor when he's trying to convince loki to stop his madness

One thing that is odd now is seeing as Hot Toys have nailed the likeness so well with this figure why couldn't they get the first version out? Or is it simply Hiddleston demanding the very best for his likeness whereas Hemsworth doesn't give a ____ hence his rubbish figure : :

That's an interesting point about the likeness issue. It would be cool to get a behind the scenes on the figures, like interviews with the teams and such. If it really was Hiddleston demanding the best then I'm glad he did, but Hot Toys shouldn't have to be pushed to produce a product of this quality.

I was a little apprehensive about how good the likeness might be after seeing Thor, but they have got it spot on and it looks fantastic, well done Hot Toys

Yeah, I think you may be right there, I think I've just given myself an excuse to go and see the film again.

I think he also uses them in Thor during the battle on Jotunhiem.
