Thanks cof for the photos! Would you be able to swap the new Loki head onto the old Avengers body to see how he looks armored without the helmet. I'm debating picking up just the head from the new one as an alternate display option. I'm not sure if someone has asked you already, but do you like the new head better?

So I got my Loki ex today, and after inspecting it I noticed that the tip of his nose is really shiny. Like it was buffed or glossed somehow in the package by the wrapper. It's really bothering me simply because it is dead center of his face. What is the process for returns with Sideshow? Is this something that they would be issue me a replacement for? If so, how do I go about doing that? Do I get to keep the exclusive accessory? Sorry for twenty questions, I've just never encountered a problem with them before.

if ssc deems it worth of a replacement, they usually will just ship u a new head and u show proof of destruction of your defective piece. i have a similar shiny spot on the forehead. its not viewable at all angles and i imagine i would have a difficult time proving to sideshow that is warrants replacement. oh well

I'd say just add a tiny app of matte varnish and that should help. If not, then see if they will replace it.

the head sculpt looks ok at some angles...other angles not so much. i'm meh so far. quick pic...

Mine has a shiny spot on the forehead as well. I emailed SSC. We'll see what they say...

I really wish they just stuck with the prototype head for this release. I liked it with all the details. Softening it to me really wasn't a good way to go. I think it's a pretty cool release and I like all the pictures so far but definitely not a pick up for me.

Mine arrived yesterday as well. He has a shiny spot on his forehead as well, but over all I'm happy with him.
His outfit especially is wonderfully done and he looks great beside my other figures.

Thanks. Yeah. I threw him in some poses real quick. He has his head on straight now Can I ask where you ordered Hulk from? He's been on my radar for some time now, but would like to get him at a decent price.

I got him from Big Bad Toy Store. Last I checked he was still in stock. At $379, he's not too much more than he was at release so I caved and got him.
