Thanks man! I try to show a fair amount of the figure in a brief amount of time just to give people a look. Not sure if I'm going to keep it up as I've only done it for the Dark World figures so far but we'll see.

Full review going up tonight EST or tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the "unboxing" video, Nick...

It looks like HT didn't put as much into packing Loki as they have other figures....kinda stuffed in the tray with the outfit overlapping and scrunched....no real protection/restraint on the head. Could be why we're getting reports of shine spots on the nose/forehead of some figures. That's a drag.

Fingers crossed the one I'm waiting for comes through okay.....

The head sculpt looks good here.

I think with the TA staff and helmet(yeah I'm putting it on!) he will look aces.
Worst case scenario: buy that wicked custom head.

I do wish that hot toys would include tiny screwdrivers (like the one that came with die cast war machine) for these figures. Haven't tried out the exclusive accessory yet. Are the batteries already in there?

I still think Avengers Loki > TDW Loki. Especially the costume as a whole.
The cape and helmet just make him so much more dynamic.

I can't fairly say since I missed out on avengers Loki, but I love this one. I wish it could have the helmet but hopefully eBay has some customs show up.

You can always buy the HS on eBay. Especially right now.

That being said... the head sculpt is what I am still torn on.

Ehhh, from a design perspective it's fairly equal in my eyes, especially depending on what kind of Loki you're after. I personally prefer this costume without the helmet and cape as the full costume can look so busy with a coat tunic and a cape on top of it (not to mention most of my favorite Loki scenes have him without the helmet anyway). If I wanted a Loki with a helmet and a cape, I'd much prefer the King Loki design from the first Thor movie (he looked majestic in that film).

In terms of tailoring on the figure though? Sorry but TDW Loki < Avengers Loki. It was literally the tailoring that put me off from getting the Avengers Loki in the first place and based on comparison photos of the two figures, I definitely don't regret getting this one over the Avengers version.

I just received this figure via ups and after unboxing and displaying, it has become one of my top figures in my collection. The HS is spot on in terms of likeness to Tom Hiddleston.
