Wow, this turned out great. No way I can afford him at his current price point though. That sculpt is spot on.
Looking forward to this to go along side Origins....

I wonder if this figure will be around as long as The Wolverine was. If so, there will be some great deals months from now. I'll definitely get the whole figure when it's 30% off with free shipping like the previous fig was lol. For now I just want the sculpt.
Love the head sculpt will probably be the only bit I buy.
So let me get this right the reason he looks like the actor is because they paid more for the likeness. So does that mean that every figure head sculpt which is slightly off is not because they cannot Capture the likenes it because they are not aloud too and can only make something that kind of looks like the actor because they didn't pay enough for the likeness.
Was thinking off buying a cheap knock off origins sculpt removing the hair and putting it on this one

they are completely different in all the movies, Hot toys is still using the Origins version, the shape of the blades in DOFP was way more bad ass
edit: "the wolverine" version is the most obvious for being inaccurate, this one right behind it

He does look bigger than The Wolverine figure. I wonder if the Pop Toys 70s outfit will fit the new body.

probably not, likely tailored to the origins and wolverine body (ttm19?)
Definitely bigger arms,but the armour is the reason for the extra bulk on the torso.

One time I felt the same way, I was looking for Sixth scale items and the prices to Kit out a custom piece were just insane, secondary market is for suckers

give it time, this just released in HK so sellers are trying to take advantage of early stock and bumping up prices. Many of us I believe will be looking for spare head sculpts once this reaches the states
Can't be arsed with any kitbashing. Buying X figure (no pu- OK pun intended) for the body, a separate head, a separate outfit - gawdammit can't we just get one Wolverine figure that looks like Jackman and wears a more significant outfit worn for the majority of one of the better films? ****ing big mistake selling my Origins figure. Seems like that was the closest I'm ever gonna get (due to it's similarity to X1, X2 casual clothes)

I'd wait before buying parted pieces. You are paying a premium right now because the figure isn't widely available. Eventually, it should normalize a bit. Unless this figure is as bad a mover as I think and then it may be very limited numbers wise, so it won't drop much. But even so, it will drop some either way. Leonidas and ezio and hulk even have lower price heads. So just give it a bit.
Indeed his hair, beard and appearance looked the most natural in the 1st film. Just look at how he looks at the very 1st of X2
