Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)
I knew HT would reuse the Gary Oldman sculpt from SWAT Gordon.

I may try and grab an extra DX12 body and bash something like this:
There's really not much left to do. Other than the TDKR armory, everything that they've teased and hinted at for this license has been done now that Blake is checked off. Sure, they could pull a 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 out of their ***, but for the most part it feels complete (other than Ra's and maybe Fox).
This is all that's left really for 1/6,
- Ra's (gaping hole that needs to be filled)
- Ninja Bruce (depending on what Ra's is like)
- TDKR armory teased
- Fox (Hot Toys was pissed about the Ace Toyz CEO, maybe they had him planned)
- Miranda Tate *shudder* only 4 people would buy
That's it.
I wonder if it's an "all new paint" job like Bale is supposed to be. At least the sculpt is good - they've done terrible second revision sculpts a number of times already.
Well, they never produced Ras, and never produced Dr. Crane (only masked Scarecrow), and Talia So, still a couple to go, and they confirmed Fox.
Judging from this pic compared to pics from the movie and the original prop, the Batman Spotlight seams a tad to small to me, but in this specific case I could imagine that it could look odd if it was bigger, though it would probably be more accurate.
Think it's not a big deal in this case, as it will not be to visible if posed properly. The weathering looks badass and pretty accurate to the look in TDKR, hope they will look as good as the proto!
It would be good to make him older, with some grey hair, and it would be good to sculpt his hair a bit differently, like in TDKR.

Does anybody already know if this will actually light up?

It'll be interesting to see what they do about lighting it up if so. High power LEDs, necessary to make a really convincing spotlight on a semi-distant wall/ceiling, will not last very long on small batteries.
I know what I'd do to modify it.
I can't see them having it NOT light up.
