Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Yeah $280 for Blake and the Bat Signal or $420 for Blake, Gordon and the Bat Signal. Not to say its cheap but less than I expected.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

To be honest, I don't really want "Robin"...just Gordon and the Batsignal. I'm questioning why you need to buy the set to get Gordon, but can get Blake separately :cuckoo: doesn't make sense.
For sure. And yeah, what NECA did on the 1/4 Keaton is incredible. I mean, an actual human HS underneath the mask? That body? $100??!!!

But I still doubt HT would ever revisit the 89 Bats. It is sadly not the "TDK" suit, that has been revisited 200 times. Bummer.

A set with Keaton, Alfred, and the 89-90's armory, plus a glider, BR style, would be an instant buy for me. INSTANT.
I love that NECA does that much detail for such a cheap price. Most of their Assassin's Creed figures have hair under the hoods even though it's not that noticeable. I heard the Video Game Tribute Keaton Batman has a full head sculpt too

Weird, can't find it on the site. Anyways good prices... will be even lower at other retailers.

But I've learned never to pre-order again anyways. Can prob find the full set for under $350 once released.

Oh. Well, if the Mattel Movie Masters one does, this should.

Wow, I had no idea Mattel's did that. In that case, I expect nothing less from Hot Toys.

Not a bad price, less than I expected. Still a pass. Congrats to those who buy.

According to the specs, the Signal features:

- an LED light-up function with remote control

- a 360° rotatable base

My only guess is that Hot Toys knows a lot of fans who really wanted a Gordon probably got the SWAT version already so this set is being marketed more to people who missed that or are diehard fans and will take whatever they can get. The Blake and Bat Signal set is probably more for people who don't want another Gordon.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

$300 for both + triple rewards points around next years Spooktacular.

Howard's gonna be sitting on a pile of Don Juans the size of that Joker money mountain. WHEEEEE!!!!! :lol

(Insert picture of Lau, who can double for Howard)

Edit: It's supposed to be Don Jon. How silly of me. :monkey3

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Right on top of the 1/12 Bat foundation.

Anyone still getting that? Any day now, I expect a Hot Toys press release stating, to the effect, "We have decided that this very ambitious and much-desired collectible needs...further research and development. More news to come in the future."

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

On the fence... really want the signal but don't really have use for Blake and Gordon.

But the problem is the signal might be parted out from sets and go for just as much as the set itself... so might as well get the set.

Damn this hobby!

Thats the same debate I am having.

Up for preorder at SSC - only $419.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Crazy mark up by Sideshow. The set is selling for $340 over at HK. $80 difference. Still a great price for what's included though.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS274 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Was like "OMG WTF??"

Took me a while to realize it's the wheel.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS274 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

cardboard + plastic diamond = $100 obviously

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS274 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Guys, I'm going to be looking for an extra "Robin" or two (at least one full outfit + headsculpt, +1 extra headsculpt). I imagine some of you aren't going to be wanting him - maybe we can work a deal?

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS274 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Wow, $420 for the set. Not a fan of TDR so I am passing but I just want to high light the price of this set. Seriously, $420!!! For 2 figures with decent amount of accessories and a freakin' bat signal only cost $420!!! This really puts some of SSC's recent offerings into perspective.
