I never saw the movie. Was he THAT lame? :lol

I, and a few others on this board, don't really have a problem with Blake. But we're in the minority. :lol

Blake is an idealist, which makes him poorly cut out for the GPD (or is it GCPD) but perfect to don a mask to fight crime. And like Bruce, he's an orphan, so he too can become an adopted son of Gotham. But enough editorializing from me. :lol

Do you mean when he's walked out on to the ice? That was a grey V neck & scarf, the same as the MH8

EDIT: Just seen the above post! Damn, I'm keeping the MH8!

I don't think we're in the minority, it's just that we don't ***** about it over and over and over and over again in the same threads, as if we were terribly clever or doing some kind of public service.

Absolutely loving this Blake figure. So happy JGL got his own figure.

Yup, figure is a beast, can't wait to get the whole set.

A beast? Is that word no longer limited to describing 'large' figures?

I guess the hands, as usual, are those of a beast, probably making the handgun look like the noisy cricket.

This Blake is one beasty, bad boy, bro . . . or so people say.

What pisses me off the most is you see this perfect representation of a character from a film 2 years old. Yet other characters that have been around for years are in desperate need of even one figure.

Like John mother****ing McClane.

Or the fact that we have a Joe Colton (??) before the role of Willis' career. Why isn't Howard Chan being hounded out of it with questions about John McClane?

This T-1000 is okay, but I think the Christopher Reeves Superman is the best comic movie figure of all time.

Reported!

Yea the hands are kind of huge, didn’t notice that until now, but that head sculpt is right up there with The Mandarin.

I’ll be posing this little beasty while you’ll be waiting centuries for those Batman Returns figures to come to fruition :nana:

I wonder how well a McClane figure would actually sell though. Iconic character but I don't know if he's popular enough to warrant a figure. I love the films but I probably would pass on it.

He definitely deserves a figure and would probably sell just as good as Marty.

I'd love a DX John McClane from the first Die Hard with an alternate BD head and BD limbs for $320. But if HT gets greedy and instead does a regular and BD McClane for $240 apiece, please put me down for one of each. Thanks!

John McClane > John Blake

2 pack with Hans Gruber would sell better than this Signal set. I trust the original Die Hard's popularity. A release would probably go to wait list like Marty McFly I reckon. Lots of options for exclusives too. Christmas tape for his hidden pistol or some old twinkles would be awesome.

This set will be old news once November is over.

People will lose their minds with Returns Batman, Ripley and whatever Star Wars figure they have up their sleeves. They're saving the best for last. Relevancy and anticipation and all that.

Yea you're probably right, guess I have to enjoy this release as much as I can until those are announced.

A McClane/Gruber 2 pack sounds way too heavenly to ever happen, I feel Alan Rickman's likeness would translate perfectly into a 1/6 figure.

A Riggs and Murtaugh 2 pack would be even better though.

That's just the nature of this or any hobby though. People get excited about the cool new thing then the hype dies down for a while until the item is in hand.
