These figures look good overall, but the sculpts are somewhat "meh" in likeness - plus the overly neutral expressions makes it even more difficult to pose figures together in any kind of scene.

IMO the expressionless trend is what's killing so many of the sculpt for so many people - on some figures I believe it's what divides people who see and don't see likeness. Hope to see something with a little more life in the future, some trademark and unmistakable expressions. Remember Joker? Bruce Lee?

I think Blake and Gordon are two of Hot Toys' best likenesses so far. I guess to each his own, but they look spot on to me. I love the SWAT Gordon on my shelf. Looks so perfect.

If only Michael Keaton from Batman Returns was this "meh."

Its a catch-22. If sculpts came with a smiling, frowning or angry expression, people would say that they were limited in their display of the figure. Just think of the gripes people have had with figures eyes not looking straight ahead.

As for Blake and Gordon, I think they look great, both in likeness and expression. I hope to be able to pick them up in the near future.

Yeah a lot of figures that have more expression are worse than neutral sculpts in my opinion. The Wolverine from The Last Stand comes to mind as a sculpt with so much expression that it looks goofy.

Just got my set in a few days ago here are a few shots with my Nikon .

Got this set last week, and overall, I'm really pleased with it. I have to say though, I HATE John Blake's utility belt. The buckle is confusing and the instructions about how to attach it are vague. I tried for about 30 minutes to attach it and ended up breaking the tab off of it. It just seems like a poor design in what is otherwise a very nice set. I think there surely was an easier way to make the belt fasten. Putting a snap on the back or having it buckle conventionally would have been fine with me.
The bat signal itself is awesome! It looks great and really puts out an impressive bat symbol, with the lights turned off.
Also, I was really happy to finally be able to add Gordon to my collection, as I missed out on the SWAT version of Gordon from a few years ago.

Got my set today. Forgive me if these questions have been asked and answered but does anyone know:

- How to get that damn flashlight in the belt loop? Can't get mine to fit.

- What that little baggy of button-looking things is for?

Otherwise, amazing set. Amazing likenesses, great quality on the Bat-Signal and the accessories. Gotta' go out and buy 3 AAA batteries now so I can see it in all its glory.

No interest in Blake and Gordon so got the Bat-Signal off ebay.Definitely a cool add to your TDK collection.

I really hope that set gets discounted. The bat signal and Gordon are awesome. Those two with Batman would be great.

After getting the Alfred armory for under $300, there's no way I'm paying full price for it though.
