thank you good sir. coming from you, I' ll take that as a compliment.Probably the best shots of it posted here.
I think it was showing a better painted version and then releasing thisthank you good sir. coming from you, I' ll take that as a compliment.
I guess one can polish turd, atleast to some extent. huh?
I think a lot of the negativity towards the sculpt is infact due to photography. in this scale the camera tends to capture everything the human eye cant. my opinion is that in person the head is quite good. I think HT just kinda oversold it to everyone with the shopped photos... and I have no doubt in my mind that the proto-paint apps were a lot better than production quality.
He posted that quite a while back in the DX13 thread.
just came home to find this...
purchased through Sideshow, delivered straight from China.
been out of the game for a while and I was going to just stick with my custom (2009), but the time I spent studying the character for my custom, I just kinda had to see this guy for myself...
everything could always be better. always... and this is not a fanboy statement, I dont even "need" this figure and I am absolutely fine with the head.
most HT-heads seem to have this wierd asian wibe to them anyways... it's all good
I noticed all your right Hands have NO CAMO black paint, In the promo pics all hands have Camo paint on them, Is everyone getting Right hands with No Camo Paint ????
While I agree that the production sculpt does not look as good as the prototype one, people have to realize that in this hobby, any mass produced item is never, ever going to look as good as a prototype that was hand painted by a master painter. It's crazy to think it would.
Goes to show how rushed out this figure was I don't want to beat a dead horse as i have said why i dislike about it, but HT could have tried harder.

If they never showed us, I think there would be less uproar
Also agree with you on the pics
I'm a fan of it and will be getting it
Nice pics
thank you good sir(s).Ah man! Your pics have swung me right back to buying this again.
tell me about it. in Finland I'm no stranger to taxes. I think overall I'll be paying taxes+ups-fees about 100€ on top of the salesprice+shipping. But I live in the UK so I suspect my import tax is mental.
Sideshow stated that it has begun shipment to countries it can ship straight from China. while they didn't list the countries, this excludes the states and IMO it means most of europe. The Sideshow website says it's still on pre-order rather than buy now. Surprised these are arriving to people while no official release dates been set.
well, you might be in luck as I'm pretty sure I cannot keep both once the missus finds out. I might list it on eBay...I want that custom
as I've studied the film quite a bit back in the day for that custom... the camo actually changes ever-so-slightly throughout the movie and posters, there might be some ****e on the knuckles from the shead at some point, but in the movie the right arm camo ends at the wrist. so, the mistake in all actuality is in the HT promo-pics?I noticed all your right Hands have NO CAMO black paint, In the promo pics all hands have Camo paint on them, Is everyone getting Right hands with No Camo Paint ????
