I debated getting the 43 and boy am I glad I did. This is a beautiful figure and the base just puts it over the top. The paint job is incredible and I do love the extra "flaps" that were built into the 43 from the 42...it makes posing the legs much easier. Here's a few pics I snapped.

Sweet pics man! I always love seeing the Mark 42 and 43 together! :clap

I do have a problem with the figure stand though. The contraption that holds the figure is rather loose and not as sturdy as the usual flight stand. But otherwise, it's an awesome figure overall. I just got mine today as well.

I'm surprised I had no problems with the magnetic pieces. I had my superglue ready just in case. Lol

I also have a loose pole. I may try putting some paper inside the pole to see if that will make it sturdier. Does anyone have a suggestions?

Excellent pictures MZ! :clap

I've been contemplating acquiring a MK XLII also. I love how it's essentially a reversal of the MK XLIII, with the gold being more prominent.

It's not just the pole that is loose. Even the clamp has a tendency to slip all the way down to the bottom.

Heh. I hate that.

I made an attempt at the ground punch pose last night but I just could not get it right. I think maybe I'm too scared to break the thing...I look at some of the pics of these poses on the net and I can't for the life of me figure out how people get the figures to do it. :lol

This is as far as I was willing to go... Took a lot of courage :) Could have gone a bit further - but was scared

thats what she said

the claamp has a screw to tighten it to the shaft (snicker)
I know that. But i spent most of the time setting up the batteries. Batteries now installed. Now i need to install the batteries in silver centurion.

I'm the shuffle of the last few months I seem to have discarded the brown shipper for this guy. If anyone wants to sell me one, please PM me.

Only 24 left at BBTS. Still debating whether to buy this one or the 45. I've almost pulled the trigger 3 times but already owning the mk42 is balking my trigger finger. First world problems.

24 is the most that you can see in stock. BBTS changed that months to almost a year ago.

Question for you guys: Are there fake Mark 43's out there? I've seen that the brown shippers typically say "Sideshow Exclusive Edition" followed by "Item Number ..." but I've also seen one that only said "Special Edition" without the item number. Fake? Or are the ones directly from HK labeled differently?

I think you just answered your own question.
