All you need to do is lower the foot stool and maybe push it out more in front of him a bit and you're done, really. I would imagine cutting the clear tube a half an inch would do it.

This is the only realistic issue. Everyone complaining about the ankle articulation...there is nothing wrong with it. To have his feet flat in "that" pose the ankles would need to be able to bend past 90 degrees. Put your feet and legs in that pose and see if you can make your feet flat. It's not normal.

The problem is the pants. To keep them from getting perma creases they went with that pose instead of a standard full knee bend. But there is nothing wrong with the ankles. They are no different then yours or mine. The placement of the foot stool is why they are not "flat".

much like allot of the AOU lineup apart from the avengers and Ultron, I'm waiting for the next lineup so I can space out each piece. I really want this piece, but infinity thanos I think I will wait for, especially with that gauntlet hand

Looks off there. Might just pass on this for the Infinity Wars one or wait and buy it if it makes it to 2016 Spooktacular. Still not sure yet. In hand photos might change my mind.

I wish I could be able to cross his legs and put a drink in his hand. Would look perfect then. :lol

Does look great. I would have no use for the throne either. Just don't like the look of him in it.

A 90 degree bend at the knee is all that is needed.

Yeah I feel you if we end up buying this we will have to either sell him or repurchase him when infinity war comes out in order to get the infinity gauntlet

Fortunately there aren't many AoU figs I want, the sculpts have been pretty bad. I've got Cap, and just got War Machine today. Apart from that I'll get Ultron Mk1, Sentry, and Vision.

I specified as he is sitting. I also explained why the knees are not fully bent. So the legs one get perma creases if anyone wants to later stand him up. The way it is set up he can't bend his legs all the way. And it's not an accident.

Yesssss! Its so wonderful :clap

Very amazing.

Light the chair up and give the ankles proper articulation and you pretty much have a home run.

That pose made me feel like he was trying to hold his bathroom in. :lol

Yeah and what I'm saying is that no tinkering with the chair will make his feet flatter. The problem is with his knees and it is one that I think they should have prioritised. I know he's bulky and they were concerned about crease damage but he would have been epic if he could sit with his knees at 90 degrees and leaning forward slightly with his fists on his knees.

That movie is 2018. No way I am waiting till then. I am getting this one. If anything the design might change enough to justify a second purchase.

personally i feel weird about having Thanos now. He hasn't been properly introduced. It's not "Thanos time!" for me yet. I'll wait for the next version

Hasn't been "properly introduced...?"

The heck are you waiting for, his cotillion ball?
