He's been introduced just fine. He is revealed as the one pulling the strings, gathering the Gems... He even had dialogue in GOTG and was mentioned by name several times. Can't be any more introduced than that.
Looks off there. Might just pass on this for the Infinity Wars one or wait and buy it if it makes it to 2016 Spooktacular. Still not sure yet. In hand photos might change my mind.
Exactly. I can't help but chuckle at the people that see every release and go "Pass, I'll wait for the next one". I've seen people passing on Vision because he MIGHT look different next time. Why are they even in this hobby?
You could pass on the Dawn of Justice Batman because he'll get a JLA figure, and you might as well pass on that one because he'll get a solo movie figure 5 years from now.
you don't have to buy every figure that comes out to be in this hobby. Thanos will be properly introduced when he actually does something or interacts with any of the characters we have figures of. And yes, I'm skipping batfleck but I might get the armored version depending on how it comes out. I also don't like having more than one version of each character because I feel it diminishes the characters presence on my shelf. I really only make exceptions for batman but like I said, I won't have two batflecks in a regular suit. There are a lot of different perspectives on this hobby.
Also, I've noticed that the movies improve the design and so does hot toys as time goes on. I waited for the latest cap and he's the best. I've heard Hawkeyes quiver hands work much better. Black widows proportions look better and I like the costume. Mk43 has the best articulation so far. The only expection might be Thor. I preferred the gold and the head sculpt still. I'm taking a risk that the civil war figures might be even better but that's why I didn't buy falcon or scarlet witch because I was hoping for a better costumed figure. Anyway, if I had bought all previous versions id have to store them and then sell them. Too much hassle. I don't need to keep a thanos for 3 years. So yeah that's my perspective. I don't think that I should reconsider being in the hobby for not buying all of those figures.
I buy what i like and don't worry about the next one. If a newer version comes out and I like it better, I just sell the old one off and put the funds towards the new one. Did it with Cap, Iron Man, Spidey. Works well. Thanos will be no different. Can't wait to get him.

Yeah, I don't blame you overseas folks for being picky with purchases. Those fees and shipping costs alone would do it for me. Thanos was a must the moment he was revealed. Fortunately for me I don't want the entire AoU line, just a few. I already have Cap and War Machine, then Ultron Mk1, Vision and Maria Hill was just revealed. Those aren't out til next year so that's a little breathing room. Only other figure set in stone for me this year is IM Mk3. Hopefully I'll have a few reward points saved up by the time Thanos is released. That is true, for me it is more of the case of what I can afford to fit in, and 2016 I do want to get the AOU collection of the main avengers team, along with Ultron. Fitting in the AOU collection, and trying to buy Thanos on top of that will be a problem. I wont be able to fit in the side characters like vision, scarlet witch, war machine, quicksilver if he is released would be impossible, just because of prices and custom fees going to have to take it slower.

I'm piecing my Avengers line up together from different movies. Cap and War Machine from AoU, diecast Mk3, LA Thor, Avengers Hulk, custom Wolverine, and ASM figure. I might get Falcon if he has a Spooktacular deal. My villains collection is weak so I need to step that up... All I have for Marvel is Loki and Winter Soldier. Thanos will help that out quite a bitI do not want the entire AOU either, just the main 6 avengers and Ultron. Its a cool little project I am doing, as I can collect my HT's in phases. Thanos is tempting though, but I am going to gamble and wait for infinity wars Thanos, if he does get released. Gives me breathing space in stages, yea you guys are lucky with the shipping costs much lower
Hawkeye has no visible joints?Hawkeye has no visible joints. Basically I knew they were designs I would not get tired of.
e?
Like I said, will wait for infinity wars Thanos when he is the main villain, as I do want that gantlet hand. 2016 will be the AOU collection, no room to fit in Thanos for 2016
