Yeah, it's essentially the same. The big noticeable differences to me is that the CW suit is devoid of the red design around the star on his chest and the boots seem to be more similar to that of the strike suit. The red in the stripes on the abdomen seem to be a smidge darker as well, as does the overall blue of the suit. He also doesn't appear to have the magnetic shield technology in this one, seemingly having gone back to handles. Guess he figures that if he's going to be opposing Stark, he doesn't need the gear that Stark provided him with. Haha.
He still has the Avengers "A" on the sides of his shoulders though.
Me being the Cap fan that I am, I'll probably still end up acquiring this figure and any subsequent suits that he may have in this film.
However, if I were to only get one figure between the AoU suit and this CW suit, I'd go with the AoU figure. His suit in AoU is a bit more colorful in my opinion and the figure has the cool magnetic shield, that none of the other Cap figures have.
Or you can do a slight mixture of the two, by getting the AoU figure and then putting the strike suit boots on him to resemble the boots in CW. Or wait until the figure itself comes out, and buy the CW figure boots for this suit and put them on the AoU figure.
