When you use the magnetic hand to grasp the handle on the shield, does the magnet on the other end of the shield reach the magnet on his forearm? It doesn't feel like it's snapping to place at the magnets.

I have to say the proportions on your cap figure look damn great. Mine just looked so damn skinny for some reason.

I'm really hesitant about putting his fingers through the shield handle - any tips on how to avoid paint scratching? Would it just be a hairdryer job?

Sooooo excited! I have (maybe) found a shop that still has the AoU version. At least I've ordered it, and it was even cheaper than my regular shop sells it for. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow when they check their new orders to find out whether it is really true, but as far as I can see the site shows which figures that are sold out and this was not one of them. Sooo happy as I really thought this one had passed me by. :hi5:
Hopefully I won't be disappointed tomorrow.

Was too good to be true. They just cancelled my order today and gave me back my money :pfft: Still on their website as for sale, though. :dunno Guess I have to wait for the civil war one then after all. :(

Sorry to hear, at least you got your money back right away.

I feel bad to be spamming all the threads with pictures I took of my Avengers today but I had to post a couple of Cap since I hadn't really taken any till now

No worries at all. It's interesting to see others' figs, poses and set-ups. Great pictures! :)

Although, you are aware that Cap's utility belt is on upside down?

Great poses man!

Hey Remy! First time I've seen you post in the Marvel threads actually. :wave

Awesome pics! Did you add a magnet to the closed fist hand? Looks so much better than the hands they gave the magnets.

Great poses man!
Love your pics, especially this one. Repped. :duff
really like that last one, phyxius:clap
Thanks everyone! :)

haha good to know, I had the pants off to stitch the velcro (it wasn't stitched completely when I got him out of the box.) I only had light blue thread which you can see in the pics but I'm not too fussed. Anyway I never realized I put the belt back on wrong :slap thanks for the heads up!

Thanks! yeah I don't like how they changed the magnet hands from the more closed ones from the prototype. I just use the arm magnet to hold the shield. It holds well in most basic poses so I'm happy. I did see some modded magnet hands a few pages back where another member warmed up the fingers in water (on the magnet hand) to make them flexible, and then glued the fingers in more of a fist. I might give that a try. The only problem with using the single magnet on mine is when I forget to remove the shield before moving Cap as it has fallen off when I move/pose him.
