We need someone to do the battzero mods like they do on the SW figs. however, then I'd have to buy like 50 of them to fill every battery compartment on all the iron man figs...

:goodpost: I more than likely won't bother fussing with the small batteries that only last a few hours :gah:

Exactly. I spent forever putting all the batteries into the QS Mark 43 and I think I've lit him up twice. :lol I mean they have been able to do the remote with the Bat signal and armory. Would've thought by now they'd make this happen on a figure or at least a vehicle like the Delorean.

Not to mention basically only turning it on for 5 seconds simply to show someone, "Oh hey look, it does this also!" :lol

I never leave the batteries in my figures so I can use the electronics, lest leakage. It's really not worth it to me because I'm seldom going to turn it on.

I don't either it's just good practice :duff

Motux, I wonder (if you have time) if you know what batteries Ultron takes? I've been trying to find out for him and for Iron Legion (don't know if you have that one too or not). Reason is I'm trying to get a soap reactor so I can have them lit in a display without the need for batteries - Ultron just looks so much better lit judging from the photos.

My guess is Legion takes 12 of the LR621 (3 in each arm, torso and head) and the same for Ultron (since that's what I've been noticing for the last few Iron Man figures I've gotten) - but since Ultron is bigger and it looks like his upper and lower arms light up I was wondering if he uses more batteries, or 12 of the LR41 (used in IGOR), some combination, or different batteries altogether?

I've always seen batteries used in sets of 3 for all the figures I have, except for the Star-Lord lit helmet which only had 2 batteries instead of the usual 3.

Any help on this is much appreciated - thank you my friend!

Hey. No worries man. They both use the same batteries as all the iron man figures. I don't know the name off the top of my head but I believe it's the one you stated. It's the same as all the other iron man suits though. If that helps. I can double check the name on the batteries when I get home.

There's a reason they don't use a single switch/remote system. I've explained it a few times.

A remote is just an external switch. I know most people understand this but not everyone does. So to get it to work every single limb would need to be wired or connected. Unless each limb has its own remote or chip. The problem this creates is that it destroys the current quality control setup. You will no longer have the option to get a replacement arm or leg or torso through sideshow or anyone else. A business can not require a customer to do anything with electronics. Even if it's just a plug and play wire. There is liability. And when a part fails there's no way to expect the customer to wire chase and find out if it's bad before or after the joint (i.e. If the hand doesn't light up is it the arm that's bad or something in the torso). It also will add over all failures, as one large circuit will fail more then multiple individual ones. If one switch fails the whole figure would be replaced in this instances. There are other things that go into it as well, like cost and construction and so on...but hot toys is aware most people "want" an easier light up feature...

That BS video was great. I generally get more information about figures from review videos such as that than I do the actual instructions that come with the figures.

I just ordered mine. Can't wait to put him with the rest of the Avengers. This guy came out great!

Had me confused for a second I couldn't tell if you hated the video or not. Realizes you meant Budget Stark :lol

Very helpful video from Budget Stark...

If you love HT, and especially collect Iron Man related figures from HT, he is the man to subscribe to on Youtube. He does a lot of other videos for other HT stuff, but he is an Iron Man focused collector.

Touch panels seem like the perfect solution.

Aw, I was hoping that more pictures would make him look LESS awesome, not more! I don't have room for a figure this big. Probably. Well, maybe I could move some stuff around...
