Have they announced how wide it is? Will it even fit in a detolf width wise?
No but you can get a general idea when you put Mark 43 on to it.

I don't think it will fit in a detolf too wide it would probably push up against the glass. I'm gonna get a new shelf for him something that will fit a PF. Too much money to have it displayed poorly. Might retire from ironmen after this guy.[emoji6]

Seriously, YA need to stop trying to find a way to squeeze this into a Detolf... :lol

Even if you manage to do so, you risk damaging it from a fall and it will look rediculous all crammed up in a glass case....get a 24" Besta

Would be funny to see this go waitlisted and no conversions due to the NRD and see everyone who didn't PO waiting for 30-40% off lose their mind :lol

It's about 14 months from release so it won't be waitlisted anytime soon

I have been reading through the posts. I see a lot of people talking about the price. Lets put price aside for now. How will you display your Hulkbuster? The typical Detolf cabinet is height adjustable using Ubolts, but the width of Hulkbuster will most likely exceed the 16" its provides.

If you want to have your Hot Toys Hulk in the Epic pose pushing against Hulkbuster you will need at least a Display box around 3 Feet wide by 3 Feet tall for the 2 figures. If you build this size box how will it integrate into your exiting collection?

I own the 89 Batmobile and that is my largest piece. The Display case I built for it is 6ft wide x 6ft long x 4ft deep. I used this large display to also house my Iron Man collection on the Top portion of the Batmobile display. I just dont know how to Integrate Hulkbuster into my display. I feel I need to build a second display case and place it in a different part of the room.

Wow, some great pics of the innards and internal MK 43! Way too much speculation going on in this thread, I'm glad to have this figure on PO!

I literally just got back from IKEA and really think I'm gonna build my display case out of a 2X2 Kallax shelving unit with the center patricians removed. The thought is to build a pedestal to raise it off the floor by 10 inches or so, mount a mirror on the back side and build a glass frame for the front...and of course add lighting. There'd be plenty of room for the MK 43 and maybe some of the other Avengers. I may even go with a red shelving unit although it's not quite Iron Man red. Let the planning begin!

Hulkbuster will go on top on my Detolfs with Igor and Whiplash Mk 2. Building a custom cube cabinet to display HB and Hulk would eat way too much space for me.

BTW, that's a great collection lotus000, well done!

I'm reading this on my phone and until I clicked this image and zoomed in I thought it was a still from one of the Iron Man films!

That is a truly awesome setup, do you have a thread with more photos?

lotus has one of the best setups I have ever seen.... truly awe inspiring

Thanks guys. I've decided to leave my setup alone and just build another display. I may go to Ikea tomorrow to get some ideas. I really want to showcase HulkBuster and Hulk fighting.

Not sure how much money I can hide from the wife in Paypal, but this may need to find a home in my setup.
