my only big fear of secondary markets are of fakes. Are there fakes out there? I honestly don't know.

...in full Sideshow packaging, with an original receipt?.. bootleggers are very, very unlikely to go to those lengths.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Im posting this again so it doesn't get lost.

the hulk is 8.5 feet tall and HT made him 16.5 inches tall. so 1.94 X 8.5 equals 16.49

hulkbuster is 11 feet tall. 1.94 X 11 = 21.34 they'll round it up to 21.5

so hulkbusters size will be 21.34 inches (21.5 inches rounded up)

and Ultron will be 16 inches

It's not that exact. All the captain America figures are not exactly the same size. And none are perfect 1/6 scaled down in height. The hulk figure is not exact, or close enough to call it rounded. The RDJ figures are not all the same size. Thor from dark world and thor from the first are different. Same for Spiderman.

There's a range they try to stay in to classify as 1/6, but it could translate to over a foot difference if scaled up to a real 6ft 2 man(plus or minus 6 inches at 1:1). Tooling and machine surfaces, package size and weight distribution of figure, keeping them balanced. Those are things that 1/6 (or any scale figure) has to compensate and work toward getting balanced. You know they are all not correct when half the bodies and necks used a reused on another figure.

Anyway, they don't go for exact 1/6 scale dimensions.

HT won't make the buster small or too big. They want it to look significantly bigger than the hulk. At 21.5 inches it would accomplish this. That's a 5 inch difference. Also, the width is going to be huge. I really hope we get details soon. Need to make room lol

I wouldnt put too much fate in those heights, especially if they are based on the first Hulk or that ridiculous chart, both are inaccurate

You're most definitely correct. I have no idea how big it will be. Hopefully we will find out more information soon

Thank you

It takes forever for the points to be available. It doesn't help when their products keep on getting pushed away from release dates

SSC has a 30 day return policy. Pretty sure that's why points don't become available for 40 days after purchase.

Thinking about this figure, and all the others from this line, I realize that if HB ends up falling in a price range that I don't feel I can justify spending on, and Ultron only comes with the human-like head sculpt and not the EW cover, I might just be done with pretty much buying new from HTs. I really hope they don't kill it with this figure.

I expect Ultron to be a a little less than the new Thanos figure, probably $320. I think it will come with just the 1 headsculpt and a couple of hands and MAYBE an exclusive item . I'm not even sure the EW cover is a main Ultron form because it just looks like a drone to me(which I guess technically it is an Ultron since he controls them all at once) so I don't know if it will be made or if Hot Toys will make a Ultron MK1.... I don't know about HB's pricing

Popped up on my FB feed. Looks like it some some decent articulation. Every time I see it, I get sold on it all over again. Hopefully up for PO soon
